Join us at the HKU InnoWing Carnival 2025 for a special talk on how technology is helping us better understand the ancient world.

At HKU, archaeology meets engineering in a unique way. Each summer, our team runs a fieldwork project in Armenia, excavating a 3,000-year-old fortress. This work is also a chance for testing new tools — from 3D recording and AR/VR to machine learning and AI.
The talk will highligh t how these technologies are shaping the way we explore the past, and how students can get involved in meaningful, hands-on research experiences.
Whether you're curious about archaeology, passionate about innovation, or simply looking to learn something new, you're warmly invited to join us.
