@GottaLaff I’m in the non-profit world in a profession where #studentloanforgiveness was promised after 10 years. We still need more licensed professionals to work in fields most find undesirable due to low pay or conditions. I wanted to what I’m doing anyway & the incentives helped me commit to it
I work in a very specific MH/behavioral field where we need more trained professionals.
Anyway, that student loan forgiveness was reneged is a crime. What bullshit to break an agreement like that. -
Between the right’s desire to avoid helping the undeserving poor and the left’s desire to avoid helping the undeserving rich, there’s no social good we can’t come together as a society to destroy.
