TU Delft being the largest technical university in the country, means that it is one of the largest contributors to the weapons and surveillance research which "israel" uses to kill and oppress Palestinians. Yet, while claiming to celebrate the scholar who stood against the Nazi occupation and #genocide, Leiden University remains complicit in perpetuating ‘israel’s’ occupation and genocide - including #scholasticide - in Palestine.
Leiden University’s silence is a grave betrayal of Cleveringa’s lessons. By staying complicit genocide, occupation, and the violent denial of a people’s right to self determination, LU is exploiting and defiling Cleveringa’s legacy.

Coming Monday the 26th of May, HKU4Palestine will organise a sit-in in the Atrium of Oudenoord.
We do this to urge the CVB (College Van Bestuur) to finally meet our demands, listed below.
Despite our numerous attempts to convince the CVB of the importance of these demands, after more than a year, the CVB has been incapable of meeting these demands and breaking ties with Israel.
Therefore, we will inform the CVB that our demands have not changed.
Please join our sit-in, attend our workshops and join forces. HKU students and staff, let’s finally mobilize!
Our demands:
• The HKU must write a statement that clearly rejects the genocide, disproportionate violence, and impending ethnic cleansing committed by Israel
• The HKU must sever ties with Bezalel Academy of Arts and Design
• The HKU must investigate any connections with Israeli institutions, companies and investors, making these public, and severing these ties

Utrecht - In het universiteitsgebouw aan de Drift 13 in Utrecht worden vandaag weer colleges gegeven. Het pand bleef gisteren gesloten na een bezetting door pro-Palestijnse betogers maandagavond. Die actie werd beëindigd door de politie, maar volgens de demonstranten betekent dat niet dat ze stoppen met hun protest. "We blijven keihard actievoeren."
Hoe die acties eruit gaan zien en of de universiteit bijvoorbeeld opnieuw bezetters kan verwachten, is onduidelijk. De demonstranten willen nog geen details geven over de invulling van hun protest. "Waar en hoe kan ik niet zeggen, maar we gaan door", vertelt Itai, die namens de groep spreekt. …"

Ah kijk, nog eentje. Mooi! Alleen kleinere universiteiten durven het aan. Helaas niet op individueel niveau. Het is natuurlijk nog steeds bizar dat individuele Russen en Iraniërs wel worden geweigerd, maar Israëlische individuen niet. Laten we echter blij zijn met elke positieve stap.

"Tilburg University schort de samenwerking op met twee Israëlische universiteiten. Dat meldt de Brabantse universiteit in een persbericht. Het gaat om de Bar-Ilan Universiteit en Reichman University nabij Tel Aviv.
Het besluit volgt op een advies van een universiteitscommissie van vorig jaar december. De commissie van vier hoogleraren adviseerde toen dat Tilburg University de samenwerking met Israëlische universiteiten moest stopzetten. De conclusie luidde dat er een "onlosmakelijke band" bestaat tussen de partneruniversiteiten in Israël en de Israëlische krijgsmacht.

More footage of the violence by plain clothed police cops in Binnengasthuis 1 (BG1). A lot of questions should be answered by the responsible authorities:
1. Was this on behalf of mayor Halsema? Did she agree? Does she still agree after seeing the footage?
2. How did the cops arrived there so quickly? If I understand correctly BG1 was not occupied that long after the evicted Maagdenhuis occupation. Or were those cops already in or near BG1?
3. If not already in the building. Who let them in? Did the UvA let them in?
4. Why didn't those plain clothed cops identify themselves as being police officers? Or at least more clearly.
