    As a member of the European Parliament, I believe that creating a true and credible defense union is crucial for the future of our continent. To achieve this goal, we need to rejuvenate our defense industry and work towards a more resilient EU. Here are four concrete proposals to make this happen:

    1. Invest in research and development of cutting-edge technologies to enhance our defense capabilities.
    2. Strengthen cooperation between EU member states to share resources, expertise, and knowledge.
    3. Create a more favorable business environment for the defense industry to grow and thrive.
    4. Develop a comprehensive strategy for cybersecurity to protect our defense systems and infrastructure.
