Bon sinon, l’AP #Strixhaven était très chouette malgré le fait que j’ai gagné un seul round et aucun match. Je n’avais rien de très enthousiasmant pour la m deck bicolore, donc j’ai tenté le tout pour le tout avec un WUBRG pour essayer un deck Convergence. Ça n’a pas marché, mais c’était moins bancal que ce que je craignais. J’ai commencé #Magic avec Strixhaven donc je suis hyper emballé par ce set. #mtg

I attended a Two-Headed-Giant PreRelease for Secrets of Strixhaven last Friday. Great Set! The seeded packs dictated almost all decks. Some people did not get PreRelease Packs as they did not register, but the TO tried to be supportive anyway and gave them normal packs. One team dropped after round 2, because their decks were a lot weaker than the opponents, which lead to unfortunate buy in round 3 and 4.
My team played a Witherbloom life-gain matters deck and a five-color mostly-Quandrix Converge deck.
My Witherbloom deck did not work to well, but my friends five-color deck worked surprisingly well. We mostly anticipated a fun but not coming together deck, but an unanswered Wildgrowth Archaic was quite strong and we needed a lot of dice.
We still only finished 2-2.The amount of removal spells - at least in the decks of our opponents - was quite substantial, which in one round lead to the rather unfun play pattern of not sticking one creature.

Anyone else feels like the hardest part of building a new commander deck is picking the right deck box?
I like matching them with the commander. But I'm having trouble finding the right deck box for "Dina, Essence Brewer".I was hoping Ultimate Guard would have made Sidewinders for each of the colleges but unfortunately they only did college designs for the Boulders and I definitely prefer Sidewinders.
Now I'm thinking if I should maybe get the Sultai/Emergent Ultimatum Sidewinder (https://ultimateguard.com/de/Magic-The-Gathering/Sidewinder-100-Xenoskin-Magic-The-Gathering-Tarkir-Dragonstorm-Emergent-Ultimatum/UGD011571/) but it also doesn't feel quite right.
And the new Veil of Summer Sidewinder deck box (https://ultimateguard.com/de/Alle-Card-Cases/Sidewinder-100-Xenoskin-Magic-The-Gathering-Secrets-of-Strixhaven-Veil-of-Summer/UGD011858/) feels too much like Selesnya instead of Golgari/Witherbloom.

It’s been way too long since I finished reading a book but today I finished reading The Hobbit for the first time and it was great. I read a nice illustrated (by Alan Lee) hardcover version of it and I have The Lord of the Rings trilogy before me still. But first I will read the new Magic: The Gathering novel that is coming out shortly and that I have preordered. I’m very excited for it.
