I have the “Red Curtain Trilogy” boxset that also has “Romeo Juliet” (1996) and “Moulin Rogue” (2001) back at home. Probably the first boxset I ever purchased. Very worth it, if you can get it and you’re a fan of Buz Lurhman’s whole ~ thing~

Just been to see #StrictlyBallroom at the #theatre - what a delight! Fabulous dancing (esp Rico's Pasa Doble💃) and lots of humour. It definitely kept some of the pastiche style from the film.
Shame it was a little miscast (IMO) but I guess they need the "big name"?

So I watched #MoulinRouge for the first time today. I loved #StrictlyBallroom and wanted to see another of #BazLuhrmann's works. I had seen snippets of it before but I never watched it.

Wow.

Great show. I have never really seen anything else like it. It had a good story, I like the way it was shown to us. McGregor and Kidman had great chemistry together. I would definitely watch it again.
