Well damn... 117 hours in, and I still managed to have a "Eureka!" moment with Streets of Rogue... 😁

I thought I'd give the Wrestler a try. The unique ability of the character, grabbing objects in the environment to use as projectiles. Depending on the object, they inflict different effects. Bins inflicting poison, for example.

Playing through Hades as the updates applied in Early Access was awesome. The game in general satiated my desire for "the best game". I'm not sure it will ever be topped for me. Trailers and announcements come out, and my friends talk about them, but they all land flat because Hades was just that good.

So I popped back into Loop Hero again after a long while, and it occurred to me that I hadn't done a "hey what are y'all playing" post on the tooter here so:

Поиграл три часа в #HorizonZeroDawn — для меня это просто ещё один вариант Far Cry. По сути, это компот из давно придуманных механик: головоломка где нужно отследить маршрут, выстрелить точно, собрать ингредиенты, собрать сотни растений по пути. В этой игре начинаешь скучать раньше, чем тебе выдают новые возможности. И какой бы сюжет туда не поместить, интереснее не станет. И даже замена людей на роботолошадей делает только скучней, так как у них нет диалогов и каких-то историй.

Так что спасибо рутрекеру за предоставленную пробу игры, но залипать в аркадную #roguelike #StreetsOfRogue надёжнее, разнообразнее, экшоновее и без попыток на сюжет.
