  6. The last 3 days I was #skating a bit. Each day about 1 1/2 - 2 hours. Currently (after corona) I can't really go for just an hour, because in one hour I can't really do enough to get satisfied. I need breaks - especially at the beginning - so I have to plan more time all in all. That's totally ok - I'm fine with this. The last three days I had progress with two tricks.

    #NoseManual
So you ride board and lift up the back truck so that only the front truck and wheels are on the ground and you keep rolling. Nose manual is much harder compared to the manual, because in nose manual, when the board itself touches the ground while you're balancing, you crash... at least with a streetboard, because the board is bound to your feet ;-) Also in nose manual you're in position... well, when you crash then usually in a really uncomfortable way.
And yesterday I started to get a feeling for nose manuals and that's really nice. It's not that I made really over a distance - I'm at the very beginning, but it's the beginning and that's a step :-)

And now I start to be quite good in smith grinds. A #SmithGrind is - for example -  when you  are riding towards a curb - not parallel to it, but a bit slanted and jump like you wanted to make a 50-50 (both trucks on the curb), but you land only with the back truck on it and the board hangs down slanting.

I can do 180 to switch smith grind. That's one of my favorite tricks - but simple frontside smith grind has always been much harder for me. And yesterday I could nearly grind over the whole curb we have on our home spot. Super nice :-)

I used to make a combo: lazy grind to 5-0. Lazy is like smith grind, but with the front truck and 5-0 is when you grind with the back truck on the curb and the front truck is lifted and above the curb. Beautiful combo I think - I excited if I'll be able to do lazy grind to smith grind one day :-)
