A far easier way for two parties to defeat united conservative opponents in split ridings is the divide ridings up and have alternate candidates step down

I completely disagree with the idea of #StrategicVoting, and even more so with candidates and parties *not* running to avoid vote splitting (and so denying their very own supporters a choice in the election).
But I know the people in the interview (and the other cofounder) from other local social justice groups. They're sincere, and they think they're doing the right thing.

And winter disenfranches non-conservative urban voters.
