Charles Rouse - Two is One
This one starts out quite early-70s-jazz-funk, swerves into the great track Hopscotch, and keeps swerving from there.
Definitely not the Rouse you might be expecting, given his long association with Monk, but the Rouse you might need.
Part of the Mack Avenus Strata-East reissue series, remastered by Kevin Gray. Pretty immaculate.

The Descendants of Mike and Phoebe - "A Spirit Speaks" (1974)
This album features siblings Bill Lee (bass), Consuela Lee Moorhead (piano), Grace Lee Mims (vocal), and Cliff Lee (fluegelhorn). The group was named after slave ancestors of the Lee family. This is an extraordinary record and one of the gems of the #StrataEast catalog.
