@fietsria @Steeph Hier, hartje Amsterdam zelfde probleem. Vroeger werkte nachtkoelen hier prima, maar tegenwoordig koelt de stad vaak helemaal niet meer af (afgelopen nacht ging het prima, komende nacht vast niet). Veel te weinig grote bomen, en het worden er snel steeds minder (zoals woensdag door #StormPoly door kadeherstel en herprofileringen). Ik vrees dat wij toch aan een warmtepomp moeten die een beetje airco verzorgt. Na een paar dagen is het huis onleefbaar heet.

Oudezijds Achterburgwal (Universiteitskwartier Amsterdam) heeft er spontaan een extra brug bij.
Doodzonde dat de grachten zo'n prachtige lange boom armer zijn.

Maar echt, nog zo veel auto's op de weg hier voor de deur en mensen lopend op straat terwijl hier bij de vorige grote zomerstorm een vrouw aan de overkant onder een boom kwam en dood. Ik snap niet dat mensen niet snappen dat het écht hard waait. #StormPoly

#StormPoly is the worst summer storm ever to hit the Netherlands. I don’t know what the poly folk did to deserve that as I don’t think they’re particularly well-known for uprooting trees and ripping off roofs. A hidden interest in radical garden redesign, perhaps?
