I guess this is 'mild' compared to Sunday's storm.
Don't know the wind speed, but judging by the sound it is close to the height of #StormIsha last Sunday at 9.21pm when I went out with Mr Forest (dachshund).

#Cycling in #StormIsha was fun. To work, there was a very strong #Headwind which added about 25% to the time getting there, at least the sky was blue. By the time I’d finished, the #wind had died down to a brisk #Breeze but there was quite heavy #rain. However, I always have my #WaterproofTrousers at this time of year and so I didn’t get wet.

Toch nog slachtoffer van #stormisha geworden: vandaag een marktplaats-buffetkast opgehaald. Het bovendeel stond al in de aanhanger, toen een fikse windvlaag de kast eruit blies die vervolgens nogal hard op zijn kroonlijst landde. Allemaal reparabel, maar wel weer een hoop extra werk..

#StormIsha took out a #window in my #shed and broke some more an already partially broken #trellis #fence.
Now #Jocelyn is on her way to keep me #awake and scare the living daylights out of me when the #wind howls over the #eaves and whistles through our #solar #panels.
The #solar panel people don't tell you about that btw. It's like having a giant #harmonica on your #roof.

Well, it transpires I got off more lightly in #StormIsha than I'd expected. The mains power (for those who have it) is out for miles, and the road through to Kirkcudbright is closed. I'm told that Kirkcudbright is completely cut off by road, but not sure I believe that.
