  1. Diagnosis confirmed: The outside light should not contain this much water.

    Workaround: Tape off the switch to it, since there are many other things on the "external lights" circuit including the downstairs toilet light and @hag's upstairs bedroom light. But not the external porch lights at the front of the house. The joys of a home formerly owned by a bodge-it brickie.

    Long term repair: Replace the gutter and downpipe ripped off by #StormDebi to stop water running down the brickwork into the light.

Here you can see the tides, all look normal except for the one last nigh. This “pointed tip” is the result of the storm bringing more water inshore.

    And the wave power is just insane. The amount of energy the storm carries is, just wow…
