We have been to #YFenni today and were saddened to see that the lower town has been flooded due to excessive water run-off from nearby roads and streets.
Whether the drains or culverts were blocked or whether it was just the immense volume of rain, it was awful to see that 2 local towns had fallen victim to #stormclaudia this weekend.
One of the local café staff team told us that staff in the shops opposite had been up through the night, moving stock and then clearing up after the floods.

If the authorities want people to take more heed of storm conditions, they have to not only better inform but *reliably* inform.
Exaggerated claims only lead to the opposite of what is being attempted.
The warnings about 70mph gusts for Anglesey were always a bit suspect for Claudia - and were not realised; they barely exceeded 50mph.
