Watching from down under, where we are heading to a top temp of 43C in Melbourne and have fires buring all over the place.
Keeping everything crossed that you get through this without any damage. I also have a hearing loss, so I get you about not even knowing it was happening! Take care.

Just took a peak out the window to see how #stormgoretti is impacting #Norwich.
Being #deaf and having well installed double glazing meant I had not been aware of anything untoward.
But outside TV aerials are swaying with big gusts of rain visible under lampposts.
Earlier I read that this storm might be like the one in 1987…of which I have clear memories. I really hope for everyone’s sake it’s not.
Also dreading roof tiles coming off at work…loft insulation will be get very soggy.

If Europe was going to finally get a storm with an Italian name, I hoped that it would have Italian characteristics.
The high winds are what makes a storm a storm, but an Italian storm should at the least bring hot sun and dry weather, and preferably blow in olives and red wine and antipasto and amaretti.
But instead, #StormGoretti is freezing our tits off and burying us in snow. Its a disgrace to #Italy.
