The Lost Marble – The sun rises

The Lost Marble is a book about a marble that falls from the pocket of a boy who has many and then has to find its way home with the help of several characters.

The sun rises. Time for the marble to start making his way home before the ants come back looking for him.

It is the book that I wrote for the 5-7 year old reader although it could be read to younger readers as it is quite a simple story. I also produced it in two versions. Although this one has illustrations to colour in, the second one, The Lost Marble Colouring Book has less text, one line per page and more illustrations. It is aimed at the 3-5 year old age group.

This week's rerun from #TheDollsStorybook last year came out on January 14, 2022, “Earning a Living.” Two dolls who don’t show up in the stories, Gabi and Dolly, (because we can’t get permission to use them in a printed book) leave us to work for our local yarn shop, Fancywork Yarn Shop. Their job is to model patterns for knitwear that appears in our books using yarn from the shop. #dolls #StoriesForChildren #stories
