It blows my mind that these companies can issue dividends despite being in debt, paid out of funds raised by taking on loans. It smells of accounting dishonesty and I don't understand why their directors are not prosecuted for fraud and sent to prison. They apparently can do anything they like knowing full well the government will always bail them out. It's beyond time to renationalise without compensation. #stoptherot

  2. I know most folks say municipal governments are better than provincial or federal. That's true for the most part - your vote tends to count more in municipal elections. However, municipal governments are also highly prone & definitely not immune to corruption.

Especially when municipal governments still allow & are too friendly with corporate lobbyists. Especially when municipal mayors are far too cozy with police unions & not as cozy with citizens they were elected to serve.

Both of my recommendations for change are resisted by status quo folks who are OK living with municipal government corruption. Same folks lose their shit with higher government level corruption. I'm saying, #StopTheRot - bottom up & top down. You aren't genuinely into anti-corruption if you accept lower level government corruption & conflicts of #PublicInterest. It's that simple.

Goldman Sachs warn UK inflation could top 22% next year.

We cannot think of a more crucial time for a future PM to be seen on TV outlining their plans to save the economy from complete collapse...

And Liz Truss has chickened out of her interview tonight. Terrifying. #StopTheRot

Liz Truss says no need for independent ethics adviser because she knows 'right from wrong'.

Important legislation on worker's rights, environmental protection, social security etc. will be shredded...

Anyone remember when Patrick Vallance said that 20,000 Covid deaths would be a 'good outcome'?

    We're now on 200,000 deaths...

THAT is Boris Johnson's legacy, don't forget it. #StopTheRot

Boris Johnson announced he won't bother turning up to PMQs next week - today was his last one...
So he demanded he stay as PM for the next 3 months but can't be arsed to carry out any of his duties. What utter contempt he has for the British people. #StopTheRot

  8. Reading the Bill of Rights Impact Assessment. One big element missing: *impact of a Parliament happy to oversee human rights abuses*. The WHOLE POINT of ECHR is to protect individuals from malicious governments. This is scary. #StopTheRot

When working people are forced to take strike action, they are often branded as 'militant' or 'aggressive'. But this couldn't be further from the truth. This government will run a dirty campaign to discredit our workers and to divide us - please don't listen to them. #StopTheRot

Alert. This video defending the Human Rights Act has been marked as sensitive. Somebody doesn't want you to see it.

Johnson's first move was to purge all decent, sensible Conservatives from his Party. We are now left with liars, lawbreakers and charlatans who owe their careers to him. They will never do the right thing. It really is down to us to act!✊ @[email protected] #StopTheRot twitter.com/MarinaPurkiss/stat

Brilliant and refreshing coverage of our #StopTheRot rally.
"The first demonstration that was directed not against a war, a contentious government policy or some unsavoury foreign leader, but against the personal morality of a British PM".

Boris Johnson is a rogue Prime Minister. He says people don't care about his lies, incompetence and corruption. If you DO care, come along and show him just how wrong he is.
