There is a pain that words cannot describe, and a mother who no longer knows how to explain to the world what it means to see her children in need of food, medicine, and clothing, unable to secure their most basic rights.
We are not seeking pity, nor do we want words spoken and then forgotten. We want the world to feel our true pain, and for that feeling to translate into action, genuine support, and real help.
My children don't need luxuries… they need food to satisfy their hunger, clean water, medicine when they are sick, clothes to protect them, and a place where they feel safe.
The hardest thing a person can endure is to see their children suffer while standing helplessly by, unable to do anything for them. 💔
We are tired of waiting, tired of asking for help, and tired of feeling that our suffering doesn't reach people's hearts.Please, don't pass by our pain as if it were something fleeting. Don't just feel sorry for us… help us. Stand with us. Contribute what you can.
Our children deserve to live their childhood, to laugh, to learn, and to grow up without fear, hunger, or illness. 🥺💔

The weather service issued a severe heatwave warning, advising people to avoid direct sunlight, drink plenty of water, and seek refuge in cool places.
We read the warning and looked around.
Where can we go?
We don't have a house with windows to close, nor a room to shield us from the summer's scorching heat. We live in a canvas tent, made with a large amount of nylon, which, under the sun, transforms into a box that traps the heat. The air inside becomes unbearably heavy, and the temperature is even higher than outside.
This tent is our only shelter.
From morning till night, its roof burns above our heads. It scorches the children's bodies, burns the mothers' faces, and makes the days unbearably long. There's no electricity, no fan, no cool water, and no real shade to protect us.
The children sit silently, exhausted by the heat, while the mothers search for any breeze but find only hot air that makes it even more suffocating. When the heat becomes unbearable, some leave their tents in search of a cooler place. But even outside isn't a safe haven. Here, escaping the heat isn't the end of the suffering, but the beginning of a new ordeal.
In the news, they call it a "heat wave."
For us, it's another day of enduring hardship inside a tent that offers no protection from the sun, but is the last thing we have left after losing our homes.
We don't need warnings to tell us it's hot. We experience the heat in every detail: during the day, which melts our breath, and at night, which retains the tent's heat as if the sun never sets.
All we want is for the world to know that the heat in the tents isn't just a summer annoyance, but a daily struggle for thousands of children and families, inside shelters of cloth and nylon that, under the summer sun, have become like closed ovens... And yet, it remains the only place we can call "home" today.
