The Chop chant is straightforwardly racist. Every fan who does it is being racist, and everyone who tolerates it, from fans to team to league to the TV stations and advertisers, are tolerating open racism.

It's long past time to #StopTheChop. I'll always want every team who does it to lose.

Never settlersplain to me about #stopthechop when every settler can afford to pay $13,000 a seat to attend the superbowl. When that 13k could be going to landback, reparations, mutual aid.

I saw a post about a Native brand pandering and kissing ass to Taylor Swift. I've seen activist @ ing Swift to uplift #stopthechop for months. (Of course she didn't). Both instances of this are an example of the flawed logic of representation politics, and colonial politics of recognition.

The Chop chant is so over the top racist, and every fan who does it, every team and league that allows it, and every network that airs it without comment is racist. Go Dolphins.
