I thought #Nauru hosted Australia's concentration camps because they needed the mone, but maybe they're some kind of religious extremists? (the concentration camp held mostly Muslims) However, the "wealthy gulf state" not being named gives some room to believe they're not actually bad, just small, or they worried about upsetting the yanks.

Tragedy in the Channel. A woman has died after falling into the water during yet another surge of small boat crossings, with hundreds more migrants attempting to reach Britain.
This is the brutal reality of a border in chaos. Every day lives are being risked, and now lost, because politicians refuse to act.
