L'Iran n'oublie pas Gaza

Hamas said senior official Bassem Naim held a phone call on Tuesday with Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi to discuss the latest developments in the US-Iran negotiations and the Palestinian issue, particularly the situation in Gaza.
Naim conveyed Hamas's congratulations to Iran's leadership on reaching the framework agreement and praised Iran's steadfastness in confronting US-Israeli aggression, while stressing the importance of continued Iranian support for Palestinians, especially in Gaza.
According to Hamas, Araghchi thanked the movement for its support and reaffirmed Iran's commitment to backing the Palestinian people and their cause until they achieve their legitimate national rights.
He also stressed the importance of broad international political action to protect Palestinians and force Israel to halt its war and efforts to eliminate the Palestinian presence, particularly in the Gaza Strip.
Araghchi told Hamas that Iran's leadership, through its negotiating delegation, has raised "the continued Zionist aggression against Gaza, the occupation's ongoing violations, and the continuation of the genocide despite the ceasefire agreement" in international forums as well as with mediators and the US side during the ongoing negotiations.
He said Tehran continues to press the issue of Gaza and Israeli actions there throughout the diplomatic process.

❗️OCHA: West Bank faces worst settler violence in five years during olive harvest
The UN Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs (OCHA) said on Saturday that this year’s olive harvest in the occupied West Bank has seen the highest level of settler violence in five years, with 126 attacks recorded across 70 Palestinian towns and villages.
According to OCHA, more than 4,000 olive trees and saplings were vandalized, and 60 incidents involved direct assaults on Palestinian civilians. At least 17 people were injured and 19 vehicles damaged in the past week alone.
The UN agency said illegal settlers from newly established outposts have imposed access restrictions on Palestinian farmers, preventing them from reaching their groves during the harvest.
The Palestinian Colonization and Wall Resistance Commission documented 259 combined attacks by Israeli soldiers and settlers during the current harvest season, which began in mid-October.
Israeli violence across the occupied West Bank has sharply escalated since October 2023, leaving over 1,060 Palestinians dead and more than 10,000 injured, according to Palestinian officials.

Efforts to reach a ceasefire agreement in Gaza remain stalled due to "Israel’s" insistence on conditions aimed at entrenching its military control over the besieged enclave, a Palestinian source close to the negotiations told Al Mayadeen on Thursday.
Describing the talks as "difficult and complex," the source confirmed that no consensus has been reached on any core issues, blaming the deadlock on the occupation’s uncompromising stance.
According to the source, the Israeli delegation is demanding authority over more than a third of the Gaza Strip, insisting on full control over Rafah and more than a two-kilometer-wide military buffer zone along the eastern and northern borders.
"Israel" is also pushing to maintain its current mechanism for humanitarian aid entry; routes that Palestinians say have become “death traps,” exposing civilians to Israeli sniper fire and airstrikes.
