The judiciary in any state exists to provide justice to its people. However, in Balochistan, the judiciary is merely a name. When the people of Balochistan approach the court with their grievances, they are only humiliated. If people don't seek justice from the court or law, it's argued that the court is the place where the oppressed are supposed to be given justice. But in Balochistan, the court is also closed to the Baloch nation.

The courage of these mothers and the bravery of these sisters form the moral foundation of this movement against the Baloch genocide. Leaving everything behind them, they face Yazid with smiles on their faces, becoming a part of history.
In the words of Kambar Chakar: โThe tears of these mothers are our literature.โ
Today, by giving conscious direction to those very tears, the caravan of the Baloch Yakjehti Committee continues to move forward.

Sharul has spent her childhood on the streets searching for her beloved uncle, Shabir Baloch. She wipes Seemaโs tears while screaming as Islamabad police drag them away. Their innocence has been taken from them and their toys and books replaced with protest posters handed to them by a cruel reality.

Dr. Mahrang Baloch's struggle has united the entire Baloch nation. She has shown every individual the path of resistance. Today, every Baloch child is well aware of the state's oppression and how the state is committing injustices against Baloch people.
As Sharul, who used to spend days and nights on the protests and streets, says: 'I am Mahrang Baloch' which means that by imprisoning one Mahrang, many more will rise in her place.

"I want to say this to everyone: your(State) operation is enforced in Balochistan. There is no law, no democracy in Balochistan. Your military system is enforced there. You donโt need to give approval for it, your forces are already doing it. But with this, you have further awakened the hatred in the hearts of the common people in Balochistan. Those common people.

The stateโs campaign in Balochistan has transcended individual arrests, evolving into a systematic policy of collective punishment designed to crush the soul of a nation. This is not governance; it is an all-out assault on human dignity and fundamental rights.
1. Systemic Terror: Enforced disappearances are compounded by Fake FIRs against relatives, while activists are coerced into .

The ongoing crisis in #Balochistan is a direct assault on the lives, rights, and identity of the Baloch. Enforced disappearances, killings, and silencing of voices are deliberate acts of repression that require global recognition and accountability.

Collective punishment has become a grave menace in Balochistan, crippling communities and traumatizing families. The damage extends far beyond individuals, as society as a whole bears the consequences of repression. The ban on peaceful political activities is eroding the youth from within and will only breed further violence. Collective punishment must stop, and the perpetrators of this heinous act must be held accountable.

Baloch continue to face systematic oppression, violence, and fear in Balochistan. Baloch live under constant uncertainty, where reports of enforced disappearances, killings, and repression repeatedly emerge. Innocent Baloch lives are being lost, families wait endlessly for answers, and generations carry the pain of injustice. Many describe these ongoing realities as the Baloch genocide, which threatens not only lives but also Baloch identity.

"Step out! Step out with passion and zeal! Step out, turning your emotions into living courage. Even that Mother is still alive whose voice grows faint, she grows weak and loses consciousness, yet she continues to deliver her speech while seated. Her beloved son has been imprisoned in dungeons for years, for us and for you. How can we remain silent?

One full year has passed since Dr. Mahrang Baloch and her fellow advocates were detained for seeking an end to extrajudicial killings. It is a profound irony that those who campaigned against the disappearance of others have themselves been forcibly removed from the public sphere. This anniversary stands as a sombre indictment of a political landscape that prioritises detention over meaningful engagement.

Fatima Baloch, the wife of the forcibly disappeared Mitha Khan Marri, states under the BYC Campaign: One Year of Enforced Detention, One Year of Systematic Repression:
" Mitha Khan Marri has been forcibly disappeared for six years. Despite our constant appearances in court and across Pakistan for justice we were left empty-handed. We are left wandering from door to door, seeking shelter with relatives just to live and continue this exhausting legal.
