Every year in #Stokesley, in the week leading up to and including the day of #StokesleyShow, the fair comes to town and takes over the high street. This year’s new attraction is called SkyFall, an 80 m tall vertical drop rollercoaster, allegedly the tallest in the country.

In #GreatAyton, just down the road from #Stokesley, the curious sight of #EV charging bays that have been there so long that the paint markings have started to wear off, and the charging posts themselves have been removed. Disappointing, especially given that there are still no working public charge points for miles around. Nationally, most settlements of comparable size are way ahead of this, often with one or more rapid chargers. Must do better!

It would take something to set me against Harry (we share a birthday 🎉) seriously always good luck to him life’s pretty rubbish sometimes and money can’t put stuff right 🌸all those people feeding off their story need to look inside themselves and start there - it really doesn’t deserve hate and nastiness 🌟or the relentless news coverage either I guess there’s more important events to focus on.

More from the parish church #stokesley and the simplicity of the outside tree in its December bare ness spread into the plain glass of the window - it is a quiet place to be 🌟

This is the entrance to the #stokesley parish #church which I’ve been visiting to get a sense of it - initially I found the space of it rather overwhelming- wonder what that is - perhaps the largeness makes you feel smaller. The outside though also has a strong feel with many trees wrapped around the building - this one with a bird house on it. The snow had just started to fall too.
