😭 I just burst into tears as Larry Nemecek introduced Ralph Senensky for this episode of The Trek Files. I’m still very emotional from being at #STLV two weeks ago.
I’m so grateful I got to tell Nemecek how amazing it was that he got to interview Senensky.

So there was one cosplayer at #STLV that I think mainly my generation would understand: Harry Kim Possible. It was someone win uniform with a handmade plush naked mole-rat, just like Rufus from the Disney series Kim Possible.
The whole thing works as a play-on-words. I initially thought the fake animal was Lanceolot (Billup’s pet ferret).

So I already have my hotel room booked for #STLV 2027. Thanks to my new friends, I feel more connected to a group of people than ever. I can’t wait for the next 353 to pass.

Got my room for #STLV 2027 booked. A friend who got Gold Chair sent me a document showing the dates. August 4-8.

Today will be a different set of co-workers (most likely) that I see today. I’m still operating on gray mode. As much as I would love to discuss #STLV with them, I don’t know if I have enough deuterium to do that yet.
The incredible celebration has left me drained and with that I have mixed in grief that has simply overwhelmed me returning home. Getting to be in Las Vegas once a year has become my safe space. I miss all my friends, the overall convention atmosphere and the partying. I wish that explaining this to outsiders wasn’t difficult, but it isn’t. Those were my people who understood me.
Let’s get excited for the 40th anniversary of #tng!
