After reading about @maia ’s journalism award, something from @vantablack , and @evacide , amongst other ~recent things~, my memory was tickled, & after some effort I pulled out of it the name #StJude.

Looking up #JudeMilhon & reading some of her writing, then finding a #book she did with @RUSirius , in the forward from @bruces (not @grymoire thank you though autocomplete)… why am I at all surprised to find an #AleisterCrowley mention?

I think it's finally time for my #introduction

I have a few names that I used over the web, but now I go as kusanagi, or liz IRL

I live in a SOC drawer of a hyperencabulator, where I spend my time analyzing tickets, writing reports about the latest threats and trying to stay awake in meetings by #knitting or #crochet. One day, I hope to be in a pen pocket instead. I also can #code in a bunch of #programming languages, including Java, Python, C++ and Ruby.

My #language interests aren't limited to just computers!! I speak a few beyond English and am constantly interested in others.

I'm a #cat person through and through, and love #baking, #sourdough in particular. #Cakes, #cookies and even #bagels have come out of the oven here.

These days, I'm a resident of #NYC, which is the greatest city in the world, and I've been to a few of them. My home-away-from-home is Las Vegas, but I've never been to #defcon, go figure.

As of this year, I've joined the staff for #hopeconf and I'm excited to be working on bringing 2024's to life.

Occasionally I stream, and every May I do a fundraiser for the kids of #StJude - because no child should die in the dawn of life. Overall we've raised over $2000 for them, and I hope next year we raise even more.

and last but certainly not least, I have a love of #music all my life. I live going to see concerts (#nin especially!) and one day hope to work on my own soundtracks/scores/whatever I plan on doing.

So yeah sorry for the late intro, I blame the #adhd :)

Watching @cnn (cause we pay for #SlingTV during college football season) and they have ads asking for donations for #StJude Children's Cancer hospital. Is that a thing that mostly only exists in the US cause we lack universal health care?
