I'm headed to #newcastle in a couple weeks for the first time ever. Got tickets to the Aston Villa boxing day match and cannot wait to step foot into St James Park. I started following them around 1992-1993, and got to see them play in Sacramento back in 2015 during their US tour. Please please please, boys - bag some goals so i can hear the cathedral go nuts.

Just a filthy american soccer fan and not a geordie, but have such a love for St James Park even though I've never been there. First trip scheduled to #newcastle and #stjamespark coming up this autumn, and am excited to know they will expand the existing grounds instead of building a larger stadium outside the city centre.

I've been in love with this stupid club since the early 90s, so I am really late in getting out to the holy land of Northeast England.
