My lap blanket made out of Tunisian crochet stitch pattern samples is nearly done.

I only have the tiresome, and boring, work of weaving in ends left, and attempt some kind of blocking of the blanket.

It's wonky and I love it. All squares are the same number of stitches and rows, but the different patterns build height/width differently.

Last side to get a border.

Currently working into the chain of the very first square of this blanket, I can see my tension was a fair bit tighter in this than it is in the more recent squares.

Luckily this blanket is going to be lovely wonky anyways due to all the different patterns not being the same height and width so I don't think the tension discrepancy will be that eye catching after all.

My #stitchSamplerBlanket is closing in on being done, the border is currently about halfway done. The border is pattern number 49 (48 different squares).
Looks like this one does meet the #fallFinishAlong after all. Though there is a fair bit of ends to weave in once border is done. #tunisanCrochet #crochet #crafts @crochet

The pattern that got me in trouble. This is square number 45 on the blanket.
As a #lapBlanket it has a good size now, so I'll have to give it a thought when I have done this row on how to continue, start doing the border or add another row of squares.

All different patterns although colors come somewhat randomly there is one rule, each color must not have it self as adjacent in any direction.

Square 39 of my #stitchSamplerBlanket is Tunisian keyhole lace.
It combines a bit more stitches then normally, there's no less then six stitches involved, including yarn overs. Also it deviates from the rule that you should always have the same amount of loops on the hook after forward pass as you chained initially. The two row pattern have a lesser amount every other row, curtesy of double stitch two together, compensated by a chain one on the return pass. #crochet #TunisianCrochet @crochet

This time a pattern called pinstripe, easy to see why. Lovely structure and feel, kind of like a ribbing. Simple pattern, just alternating Tunisian simple stitch with the Tunisian purl stitch.
