Looking west along stunningly beautiful Loch Voil in Balquhidder Glen, Stirlingshire. The glen is a true cul-de-sac, with its western end concluding in the complex mountainous country north of Loch Katrine and south of Ben More. Today’s trees are from Stirlingshire, a forest that I went to regularly when I lived there: striking steep hills and great views all the way up, and at the tops.

It’s on 35mm film, but I don’t have a note to hand of exactly what - almost certainly an Ilford film as I rarely use anything else for 35mm, probably FP4, but possibly HP5.
