Returning to our hotel in #StHelens #StHelensTasmania there was a swampy marsh right in front of our room. It had a few #BlackSwans #Swan #Swans paddling around.
At nearly 50m away, I was impressed by my Sigma lens being able to resolve the drops of water falling from the swans neck.
Further away in the bay, there were some other swans swimming and dipping below the surface.

Thinking about it, the bowling was an accidental #LocalManufacturing story.
Vinny, one of our group, works at Drakes here in Liverpool - one of three manufacturers in the world of those bowling balls; and the resin used to make them is only made in *one* place in the world, which is in St. Helens.
Both those locations plus the place we were playing lie within an 8 mile radius.

Just caught up with the #WorldClubChallenge match between #PenrithPanthers and #StHelens and what a fantastic game of #RugbyLeague that was. Great on the field, and that early accompanying weather was great too. Fabulous win for the Saints down under.
