CW: us policing question
genuine question: does #STFUFriday apply to "normal" traffic stops? like obviously, if I'm stopped by police on the way to a protest, 100% keep silent. But when it's "did you know your registration is expired" or "do you know how fast you were going" (do they really ask that?) are you supposed to go straight to "am I being detained? I want a lawyer" it seems like that would be counterproductive
