Speaking of the keyboard's terminal layout: Non-modifier keys in the completion bar now support key-repeat. As people struggled to figure out the cursor navigation via space bar long press we now add cursor keys to the completion bar by default.

The on-screen keyboard Stevia now allow to set a fixed layout per application. You can use this to e.g. force the keybord to use the terminal layout with your preferred text editor.

The dose doesn't seem that high "127 mg/kg/day N-acetylcysteine (Figures 1B,C) and 0.013 mg/kg/day selenium ", that works out to a male human equivalent dose of ~ 929 mg NAC and 0.095 mg Se. The NAC + Se was given to mice orally in their water supply, with stevia added - which also has antioxidant properties.

To calculate the equivalent dose I divided the mouse dose by 12.3 and multiplied by the average male weight in the USA, 90 kg.

We've just merged some code to automatically scale up the on screen keyboard in landscape on larger screens like tablets also allowing it to use more horizontal space.

While at that we also added the necessary bits to scale up font and icons on the keyboard's keys accordingly which also helps on phones when going to higher resolutions.

There's still some low hanging improvements like scaling down in landscape on phones or improving the touch area for the shortcuts and completion bars. Let us know if you want to help with that!

Just accidentally inhaled a tiny bit of dust from the #Stevia powder (REB-A > 97%).

I think a lot of folks who avoid it today probably haven't tried it in the past decade. ;)

You can still OD and get the nasty bitter taste, but not nearly as easily as before.

But some people are just more sensitive to the bitterness. My aunt hates #Stevia, but she loves (checks notes) Karela (Indian Bitter Melon).... Hmmm....

#Thankful for the simple things, today...

I remember when you could only get #stevia as a nutritional supplement in the U.S., because of some stupid law, likely drafted by a chemical company lobbyist.

Now it's everywhere, which I guess is a bummer if you hate the taste, but I'm fond of the stuff. 😂

Let’s all just stop pretending that #Stevia has an acceptable taste. It clearly tastes like a chemical. #Splenda is more than sufficient for the needs of most people. There are also other great options out there. Very few companies have created tasty products sweetened with Stevia. I’m not saying it’s impossible. It just isn’t practical.
