  1. "Seven Bridges Road" is a song written by American musician #SteveYoung, recorded in 1969 for his #RockSaltAndNails album. It has since been covered by many artists, the best-known versions being a five-part harmony arrangement by English musician #IainMatthews in 1973 and a similar version recorded by the American rock band the #Eagles in 1980.

  2. #NFL #Patriots #Seahawks #NCAA #Michigan

Well, if #JimHarbaugh was thinking about returning to the NFL after taking the Michigan #Wolverines to the #NCAAF championship, now is the time, given the announcement that #BillBelichick & #PeteCarroll will be parting ways w/the Patriots & Seahawks, respectively.

The demise of 2 #SuperBowl winning football coaches also suggests that what makes NFL coaches "great" is having a great QB (and team) who can execute their game plans.

Belichick was great when he had #JimBrady. Carroll was great when he had #RussellWilson. #BillWalsh was great when he had #JoeMontana & #SteveYoung. And so on . . .

Harbaugh is already one of the most successful football coaches in the NFL but he still has a Super Bowl win to strive for.

So, it will be interesting to see if he stays in Michigan or accepts an offer to coach in the NFL again and, if so, which team he'll choose. 🍿

Newly reissued album from 1969, new to my ears. It's pretty great.

    Seven Bridges Road

Here we go all the way back to the original which was written well over 50 years ago by #SteveYoung. Enjoy how the song has evolved through the years. Once again, there are some interesting names here. Enjoy this drive down a country road in Alabama.

"There are stars in the Southern sky
    Southward as you go
There is moonlight and moss in the trees
    Down the Seven Bridges Road"
