I'm trying to watch some legendary 80s movies that I have forgotten about (or never seen before). Recently, I've picked up "Stand By Me": a group of friends set out to find a dead body. I don't know which bits were just 1950s nostalgia (as seen from the 80s). But it sure has a unique flair. And a lot of strange bits: kids walking a whole summer day with raw meat in their backpack to enjoy meatballs at an evening camp fire! A side story about barfing up blueberry pie.

Idea for ‘Steven King’s Books, Movies & TV Fans, to Get What I Think All of Us Want More ‘Steven King’s Stories on TV.
I been re-watching ‘Stranger Things’, to prepare to for the show shutting down. Like the show, but it seems almost like a ‘Steven King’ knock off, more so with every sense begun. I also love the original ‘Twilight Zone’ best SciFi stories ever made, better than any TV & Movies ever made. I cannot tell you how many timesI have watched them, but give me $100 each episode I have watched & I would become the richest person in the world. I really liked the original ‘Amazing Stories’ as well. I liked all the remakes of both series that followed.
So, here is my idea-
Create a TV series that takes ‘Steven King’s stories, mostly the books, & makes at least one-entire season out of each of his stories. Maybe, need to increase seasons’ at least 1+-Hr. episodes to at least 20. Maybe, even do more than 1-‘Steven King’ stories at a time, already doing that for other famous authors.

Time for #OffTheBacklog - it's #StevenKing 's #TheStand as an unabridged audiobook based on the 1990 "Complete & Uncut Edition". At 47 hours and 47 minutes, this audiobook is a commitment. It’s a fantastic book, and Grover Gardner’s narration is the best I’ve heard, save for the frequent mispronunciation of Nevada. (Remember, Nevada sounds like "Had Uh" not "Odd Duh"). I won't do any spoiling but I will say even if you've seen both adaptations there is plenty here for you and it's way better!

I was reading a #StevenKing novel, and noted a #camera referred to as a “classic” – a #Nikon F2A.
I looked it up, and was led to its successor … the #F2AS.
Here’s what Ken Rockwell had to say:
“The F2AS is the last, best, most advanced and most durable mechanical camera ever made by Nikon. It might be the best ever made by anyone … it's the best Nikon has ever made.”
45 years old. A beauty. I’m back to film!
