Ohne den podcast gehört zu haben muss ich da gleich an die sog. minimal music und z.B. Steve Reich denken. Klingt sehr mathematisch und repetetiv, allerdings mit fortlaufenden minimalen Veränderungen. Das macht aber auch gerade die quasi hypnotische Wirkung aus wenn man sich darauf einlässt.

Hall talks about how a chance encounter with Steve Reich's Music for 18 Musicians in a college library set the course for his entire musical life — and how, decades later, a suggestion from his wife turned that obsession into a recording project that Reich himself called a reinvention of the piece.

It grabs random 1 second clips of #TheExorcist and loops them, set to a #SteveReich style remix of the the first bit from #TubularBells by #MikeOldfield.I genuinely adore this and consider it to be a work of art.
