  1. #RickWakeman è questo signore qua: lui che è stato il re dei #Synth nel #prog, lo troviamo eseguire un suo arrangiamento di #CloseToTheEdge su uno #Steinway a coda 🤩

  2. It’s amazing the difference a good grand #piano can make. I love my #Yamaha Avantgrand N2 — it’s a great piano and one of the best pianos that you can buy that’s not an acoustic grand.

I got to play the Appassionata at the flagship #Steinway showroom in NYC. It was a Model B. What impressed me so much was just how much easier most of the passages that I struggled with were with the Steinway. Whether it was speed, dynamics, tonality, etc., it felt easier without any major changes from me.

I’m still a #Bösendorfer pianist through and through (to the point where they were curious about how I knew so much more about Bösendorfers than Steinways, because “usually it’s the other way around” 🤣). But Steinway sure can make a top-tier piano.

I wish I could have recorded it, I would have shared it here.

  7. @godlessmom 1. I started a web-based software business in 1996, hoping to quit my day job. I still have my day job, but I put three kids through college and bought a cheap car and lots of cool stuff with what I earned.
    2. I has a Top Secret /SCI clearance for several years but never learned any secrets worth selling.
    3. I own too many musical instruments to even count, including a rare #Leedy #vibraphone and a rare 1917 #Steinway Model I upright.
    4. I have a #camera collection. My favorite is a #Rolleiflex 3.5f. I find it beautiful.
    5. I own a 6 ft wooden indian that my dad carved in 1976. He's named Chief Rain or Shine, though I don't know why.
