My Steam end of year stats for 2025 (they're a pain in the dick to find and access, you gotta be logged in, use desktop version, and this link: https://store.steampowered.com/replay/my/2025). The genres are so weird, too. 'Gore'? 🤔 sure, okay. Played a lot of rodent games, and all indie. Roguelikes and shooters as usual. Ramped up the playing at the end of the year, apparently 😂

My #SteamReplay reported #TheFirstDescendant was my most played game. Not a surprise.I played 18 games and TFD was 68% of my play time. #VRising listed second with 15% of my play time.
I still played #NeverwinterNights in 11 months out of 12, but it was only 5% of my play time as I primarily logged on for specific events.

Finally remembered to look at my Steam Replay for this year. No real surprises. I think I played the Switch more than the Steam Deck this year but I haven't seen the year-end summary from Nintendo pop up yet.

My #SteamReplay says I played 79 different games his year. #VRising was my most played game, but I think I'd have to give my game of the year award to #Ratopia, which is a masterpiece that no one seems to have heard of.

Guess that's Steam Replay for 2025. The usual bummer is that smaller/indie titles that take fewer hours and sessions to beat are inevitably pushed lower.
I really enjoyed 'RoboCop: Rogue City' more than I expected, it's a bit rough around the edges but it's done with a lot of love for the 80s and the franchise, and I really wish 'As Dusk Falls' either didn't end in such a huge cliffhanger, or that the planned sequel wasn't in limbo. I also still think that 'Brütal Legend' has one hell of a soundtrack but it'd be 10x better without the random, sloppy RTS parts.
Funny that I hadn't touched 'Marvel Rivals' since its first month of release before November 2025, and I only started a new 'Baldur's Gate 3' playthrough a month ago, but I reckon the fact that they added Rogue and tattooed Gambit in Rivals, and the new(ish) direct in-game mod support for BG3, managed to shift these results.

I'm not saying that the #SteamReplay has some weird calculations behind it, but…
I've played 26% Inquisitor Martyr, 17% Chaos Gate: Daemonhunters, 4% Frostpunk (playing the last "still warm" level) and 4% Airborne Kingdom, and yet "City Builder" is at about 55% on the spider graph and Warhammer 40K is at about 65%.
Meanwhile, I spent 4% of my time playing Wingspan and 1% in another board game against my brother and the "Board Game" category is down at 25%!

I'm happy that being a dad hasn't forced me to cut down on my ability to play video games too much.
I guess the catch is that I'm playing exclusively single player games because I need to be able to walk away from the computer anytime 😬

Here is my Steam Replay 2025. This year was very hot or cold, depending on the moment. A lot of things happened in which changed both my method and my ability to play games at the time. Baldur's Gate 3, by far, is still the best game I have played since it's release (which I also played a ton of during its "early access" period.

Steam Replay is live! 😱
No surprises here, Age of Mythology because it's basically the best game ever, just remastered, Chill Pulse for work focus, mandatory Tomb Raider, Oscuro which was basically the best and coziest platformer this year that I ran and Die in the Dungeon because I got obsessed with it in the summer while we weren't home.

2024's Steam Replay is pretty much how I expected it. Thought Mad Max would rank even higher with how many hours I poured into it, same for a couple of other games, but I guess shorter/indie titles that don't take that long to finish inevitably count for a lower percentage. And I guess I have, indeed, been really enjoying Veilguard.
