L'#ArcaRussa ovviamente non è un documentario per la TV e sicuramente ha avuto a disposizione altre risorse, oltre ad essere un'opera d'arte molto più complessa e di ben altro livello concepita da un regista geniale
Tuttavia l'idea di girare seguito da un operatore #steadicam in mezzo agli anfratti in un sito archeologico particolare come #Pompei è decisamente stata un'idea innovativa 👍
Eccezionale la troupe napoletana, BTW: i #campani quando vogliono hanno veramente una marcia in più 💪

Devo dire lo speciale di #AlbertoAngela su #Pompei di stasera è stato oggettivamente interessante, soprattutto per come è stato realizzato: un unico piano sequenza che lo segue per tutto il tragitto alla scoperta dei nuovi recenti ritrovamenti nel sito archeologico
Mi ha ricordato, con le dovute ciclopiche proporzioni, il capolavoro del 2022 di #AlexanderSokurov ovvero l'#ArcaRussa che mostra l'#Ermitage con la stessa tecnica estrema con l' operatore #steadicam che gira su un percorso studiato

L'ultimo pezzo della #playlist di #Halloween 🎃 è un altro classico del cinema horror: #Halloween (nomen omen della playlist 😉)
#Carpenter rappresenta un unicum nella storia del #cinema: ha innovato (basti pensare all'uso della soggettiva qui con #steadicam), e soprattutto è stato uno dei pochi #artigiani "totali" del cinema (come pochi altri, mi vengono in mente solo #Kubrick o #MarioBava). Questa OST, come quasi tutte quelle dei suoi film, l'ha scritta lui stesso.

In 1973 the film THE EXORCIST was release in the US. It was made 2 years before the invention of the #Steadicam (originally a weight-balanced-stabilizer allowing cinematographers to carry a #camera with out the image becoming overly shaky).
See below how they managed to keep the camera movements smooth tracking ahead of actors running up stairs. #Filmmaking is always a matter of problem solving and often invention.

I finally got around to redesigning our #proTally assembly. The changes include:
- Combining the main unit with the talent tally so everything is all-in-one
- Neutrik NanoCON connectors are now used in place of a permanent wired power/tally connection
- Redundant power and tally connectors to allow one or two cable operation in case you need separate power and tally lines
