I just dumped a bunch of my #OaklandAthletics gear and swag into a huge box and shoved it into the back of the garage, since I'm not likely to go to a game this year. There's more to pack, but I started getting too sad about my years of being a fan and supporting the team. And the box was full.

As a long-time #OaklandAthletics fan, and a season ticket holder until this year, you bet your boots I was at the #ReverseBoycott game last night. Everyone who's been staying away in protest of the decisions of the owner, John Fisher, who wants to move the team to Las Vegas, showed up on Tuesday to protest, with people flying in from across the country to be there in support. #OAKTogether
It was loud, it was crazy, and the crowd was more like the rollicking ones I remember from the good playoff days. It was a community. The entire stadium shouting #SellTheTeam and #StayInOakland was truly a great thing to be a part of. And at the same time it felt like a wake.
