Enjoying a chill night on the sofa, as I have for years at New Year. In my new velvet trousers with silver embroidery on the bottom (Joe Brown, I love you), purple nail polish and all three cats. Lola next to me, Jasper on my mum’s stool and Sapphy on the arm of her chair. Thankfully he’s here and not still under my bed as he was earlier, spooked by the fireworks and before that the loudest thunder and hail.

Been away a few days which has catapulted me into complete and utter hermit mode. Also I gave up tea other than redbush a few months ago and have returned to drinking yer actual tea like some kind of addict.
