What a bizarre conversation. OP claimed that the Palestinian Authority is not related to the State of Palestine using #Wikipedia as a source, then I pointed out that the president of the PA and SoP are the same, and even Wikipedia says that the PA has pretty much become synonymous with the Palestinian state in 2013 when the PA has directed that all official documents it produced is to be marked under the name "State of Palestine". Then he (yes I checked) accused me of not supporting Palestinian statehood "based on my attitude towards the PA" without any receipts.. and I have never said anything of that sort here? :SanaeConfuzzled: And of course #blocked me so I couldn't reply (or even quote post). :reimu_sigh:

In October 2014, the Seanad unanimously passed a motion calling on the Irish Government to recognise the State of Palestine. In December 2014, Dáil Éireann followed suit.
It is time for Ireland to formally recognise the State of Palestine.
