  3. Matthew Taub: A year later, what happened to Carney’s conditions for recognizing Palestine?

  4. A reminder that the Anglosphere nations currently joining the majority of the world in recognizing the #StateOfPalestine -- while doing better than the United States -- are still acting as #GenocidesBodyguards and upholding the worst of Imperial tradition by trying to impose conditions (like those who liberated you cannot govern you, and you must foreswear the capability to exercise your right of self-defense) THAT RUN EXPLICITLY CONTRARY TO INTERNATIONAL LAW.

Also a reminder that the Palestinian Authority has--in the decades since my involvement in Oslo--become a corrupt and ineffective COLLABORATOR WITH the illegal occupation of Palestinian lands by #IsraelAtWarCrimes -- not a valid representative of the Palestinian people. Which is why it LOST the 2006 Gaza elections to Hamas (who it is now "negotiating" OUT OF THE PICTURE--how convenient!).

  7. What a bizarre conversation. OP claimed that the Palestinian Authority is not related to the State of Palestine using #Wikipedia as a source, then I pointed out that the president of the PA and SoP are the same, and even Wikipedia says that the PA has pretty much become synonymous with the Palestinian state in 2013 when the PA has directed that all official documents it produced is to be marked under the name "State of Palestine". Then he (yes I checked) accused me of not supporting Palestinian statehood "based on my attitude towards the PA" without any receipts.. and I have never said anything of that sort here? :SanaeConfuzzled: And of course #blocked me so I couldn't reply (or even quote post). :reimu_sigh:
