Overview The City of Elkton is located toward the northeast corner of the State of Maryland and serves as the county seat of Cecil County. Today, the notable features of the community include the Hollingsworth House-Fort Hollingsworth Historic Site, the Cecil County Historical Society, and the Sutton Inn.
