  12. Revolutionary Socialist Orgs Denounce US Aggression on Venezuela

Revolutionary socialist orgs affiliated with ICOR release statements condemning the US kidnapping of Venezuelan socialist president Maduro.

Trump is challenging the entire world!

Xiang Guanqi, Representative of the Communist Party of China (Marxist-Leninist-Maoist),1/3/2026

From his previous term to the present, Trump’s actions have fully demonstrated that he is the modern-day Hitler—and worse than Hitler.

This invasion of Venezuela and the attempted capture of President Maduro and his wife merely prove this point once again.

This is Trump openly challenging all the people of the world!

If the world’s people indulge him and let him run wild, he will become even more reckless, ultimately bringing disasters to the world that will surpass those wrought by Hitler.

The people of the world, including the American people, must immediately unite, take action, and launch a massive popular movement to strive to oust Trump from office as soon as possible!

Undoubtedly, the American people bear this weighty historical responsibility first and foremost. For the sake of all humanity and this beautiful planet, we hope the American people swiftly overthrow Trump’s reactionary rule. We do not wish to see America or its people face historical retribution.

Angry rhetoric and solemn statements alone will fall on deaf ears—indeed, they will only invite his scorn. The only effective method is to mobilize a mass popular movement—including street demonstrations, and especially comprehensive strikes, business shutdowns, and school walkouts… This businessman values nothing above his economic interests. A popular uprising strikes directly at his core vulnerability. Needless to say, even more advanced forms of struggle can emerge from such a popular movement. Did not Trump himself orchestrate such a scenario?

We must harbor no illusions about Trump. For Trump is not merely an individual phenomenon; he represents the collective interests of major corporate conglomerates—a class composed of these financial giants. The so-called “America First” policy is nothing more than prioritizing the interests of America’s large monopoly capital groups. Trump’s “America First” shares the same essence as Hitler’s Nazism: both are expressions of monopoly capitalist interests cloaked in “nationalism.” This is also the root cause of the dictum that “imperialism is war.” Trump is undoubtedly a villain and a criminal. Yet that such a man could be elected President of the United States and perpetrate such a series of atrocities is not merely a matter of individual guilt, but stems from deeper, more fundamental class causes.

Trump’s constant talk of “money” and “interests” is by no means solely his personal agenda, but reflects the demands of the entire American monopoly capitalist class. Viewed through this lens, the Trump phenomenon is not merely an individual or accidental occurrence, but an inevitable, class-based phenomenon.

Based on this objective historical reality, we must harbor no illusions about Trump. Instead, we must wage a resolute, head-on struggle against him—overthrow him and remove him from the presidency.

It is precisely through this lens that we recognize the issues confronting us today extend far beyond Venezuela alone, or even President Maduro and his wife personally. They concern the shared destiny of all humanity. If we do not rise up to fight, Canada could become the 51st state of the United States, Greenland could fall prey to Trump’s plunder, and countless calamities could unfold at any moment—potentially even triggering a Third World War!

People of the world, consider how perilous this scenario truly is!

Therefore, we must unite and take action—launching a grand, sweeping people’s movement to defeat Trump, bring him down, and save humanity from a catastrophe that could destroy us all!

Victory belongs to the people of the world!

Victory belongs to every single person on this planet!

In response to the US military aggression against Venezuela

PCR-U (Revolutionary Communist Party of Uruguay-UP),1/3/2026

US imperialism is blockading and now directly bombing the territory of our sister Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, while simultaneously kidnapping President Maduro and his partner Flores.

It is time for the working class and the people of the East to take to the streets to express our solidarity and demand a clear and firm repudiation from the FA government.

    Solidarity with Venezuela!

    Yanquis out of Our America!

US imperialism blocks Venezuela in support of a coup d’état

    December 7, 2025

With the hackneyed argument of fighting drug trafficking, US imperialism has set up a naval blockade and closed the airspace with dozens of ships and its largest aircraft carrier, mobilizing special forces in several countries in the region. In total, it has mobilized some 15,000 troops.

More than 20 boats have already been bombed and more than 80 people killed, many of them fishermen of various nationalities, without evidence and without trial of any kind.

At the same time, this operation, which began in August and has been escalating, is offering rewards of millions of dollars for the arrest of President Maduro and several leaders of the government of the sister Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela.

All of this, which already constitutes a very serious intervention and has been preceded by many provocations over the years, is intended to maximize pressure to bring down the current Venezuelan government, and if this does not happen, to be in a position to carry out attacks with missiles, drones, and other military means directly against government leaders, senior military commanders, and strategic infrastructure.

These actions would be carried out in support of a coup d’état, for which they need to count on part of the Venezuelan armed forces and in which the CIA and other Yankee agencies are actively working, through corruption and other means.

According to various media outlets and specialists on the subject, it is very unlikely that the Yankees will withdraw from the area without carrying out these attacks after such a large military mobilization, which has also been carried out at great economic cost.

The situation in Venezuela, Colombia, which is also now threatened by the fascist Trump, and all the countries of the Caribbean, including Cuba, is very serious.

The true objective of this new aggression by Yankee imperialism, which continues to be the main economic, political, and military power in the world, but whose hegemony is in decline, in fierce competition with China and in a multipolar world, is clear. It aims to increase political, economic, and military control in Latin America and the Caribbean as much as possible, fully reviving the Monroe Doctrine, as openly stated in last November’s National Security Strategy report.

The Yankees’ problem with Venezuela is not drug trafficking but fundamentally controlling its wealth, mainly oil, and cutting off its close relationship with China, Russia, Iran, and Cuba.

Faced with this situation, the Venezuelan government and the heroic brotherly people are preparing for military resistance to Yankee intervention and the fascist coup d’état. It is up to the working class and the peoples of the continent to develop the greatest solidarity.

We must express this solidarity now with actions, through a strong popular mobilization, which, in the face of concrete attacks, includes a general strike, while at the same time demanding that the pseudo-progressive government of the FA abandon its complicit silence and internationally condemn this new aggression by Yankee imperialism.

The people of Artigas together with those of Bolívar: Yankees out of Our America!

Long live the struggle of the brotherly Venezuelan people and international solidarity!

No to imperialist terrorism against the Venezuelan people

    ICOR America,1/3/2026

In the early hours of Saturday, January 3, the people of Venezuela were victims of a fierce terrorist attack perpetrated by Donald Trump’s fascist government.

The city of Caracas, other states, and regions awoke to the sound of planes and helicopters bombing the area, terrorizing an entire people who refuse to surrender their sovereignty and natural resources to those who have always considered America to belong to them.

In this criminal action, the constitutional president of the Bolivarian Republic, Nicolás Maduro Moros, and his wife, Cilia Flores, have been kidnapped.

In response to this state crime, Venezuelans are lying in the streets in an expression of support for the government of Nicolás Maduro and demanding the immediate release of him and his wife, as well as the withdrawal of the invading troops.

The Venezuelan Armed Forces and all its security agencies, in addition to reiterating their loyalty to President Nicolás Maduro and the Bolivarian Revolution, maintain control of the situation and call on the population not to lose their composure, refraining from any action that could serve as a pretext for the intervening forces to commit any further acts of madness.

The International Coordination of Revolutionary Organizations and Parties (ICOR) stands in full solidarity with the Venezuelan nation and strongly condemns the military intervention in its territory by US imperialism.

We defend the self-determination of peoples as a matter of principle and right, and in this sense, we demand the immediate withdrawal of the intervening forces from Venezuelan soil.

Similarly, we reject the attitude of international organizations that have so far failed to speak out on this issue. We believe that given the magnitude of this terrorist act, immediate condemnation is warranted.

We urge all revolutionary organizations in the Americas and around the world to speak out in solidarity with the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela. This crime not only affects the Venezuelan nation; it also jeopardizes the security of other countries that oppose Yankee domination in the region, such as Cuba, Colombia, Nicaragua, and others.

Yankee presence out of Venezuela and the Caribbean!

Long live the self-determination of the peoples!

    Long live the Bolivarian Revolution!

  13. WWC: AGAINST IMPERIALISM AND WAR AGAINST PEOPLES
    wftucentral.org/wwc-against-im
AGAINST IMPERIALISM AND WAR AGAINST PEOPLES STATEMENT BY THE WFTU WOMEN’S COMMISSION The Women’s Commission of the World Federation of Trade Unions (WFTU) strongly condemns the imperialist and reactionary attack against the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela. It considers this violent act a direct expression of the interests of international monopoly capital and the ruling classes who, in order to defend their profits, do not hesitate to drag peoples into war, violence and misery. We unreservedly condemn the kidnapping of President Nicolás Maduro and his wife Cilia Flores, a very serious act that represents a political and institutional aggression, an attack on popular sovereignty and a clear message of intimidation to all peoples and governments that do not bow to imperialist domination. We demand the immediate release of President Maduro and First Combatant Cilia Flores. This offensive is taking place in the context of the deep structural crisis of capitalism in the United States and Western countries, a crisis that the ruling classes are trying to resolve by intensifying exploitation, repression and external aggression. Imperialism, unable to guarantee decent living conditions for workers in its own countries, is attempting to emerge from the crisis by plundering natural resources, looting the wealth of peoples and subjugating countries that demand independence and collective control over their own resources. Venezuela is under attack because it represents an obstacle to the interests of international capital and because it defends the right of its people to decide their own future and control their own wealth. Criminal sanctions, economic blockades, threats against Cuba,Colombia, Mexico and Greenland in the media, and attempts at coups d’état are all instruments of the same class strategy, which deliberately targets the popular masses, workers, women and the poorest sectors of society. We indignantly denounce the shameful complicity of governments which, subservient to the interests of imperialism, actively or passively participate in this aggression, betraying the needs and will of their own working classes and making themselves jointly responsible for the suffering inflicted on the Venezuelan people. As women of the WFTU, an integral part of the international working class, we affirm that the struggle for women’s emancipation is inseparable from the struggle against capitalism, imperialism and all forms of exploitation and oppression. We express our full, militant and internationalist solidarity with the Venezuelan women, the labour movement and the people of Venezuela, who are resisting imperialist aggression and defending their dignity. We demand an immediate end to all imperialist interference, an end to sanctions and the economic blockade, and respect for Venezuela’s sovereignty and the will of its people. Peace and social justice will never be the result of submission, but only of the common struggle of the peoples against capital and imperialism. The WFTU Women’s Commission will continue to be at the forefront of the class struggle, against war, against imperialism, for peace, the sovereignty of peoples and the liberation of women. Hands off Venezuela! Immediate release of Maduro and Cilia Flores! Down with imperialism and capital! Against complicit and servile governments! Long live the class struggle and the internationalist solidarity of the peoples!

  15. WFTU Working Youth Committee: SOLIDARITY WITH THE PEOPLE OF VENEZUELA
    wftucentral.org/wftu-working-y
SOLIDARITY WITH THE PEOPLE OF VENEZUELA WE CONDEMN THE IMPERIALIST INTERVENTION OF THE USA WE DEFEND THE RIGHT OF PEOPLES TO DECIDE FOR THEIR OWN COUNTRY! The Youth Committee of WFTU condemns the military, imperialist intervention of the USA and expresses its solidarity with the working class, the youth, and the people of Venezuela in their right to determine the future of their country themselves, without foreign interventions and blackmail. Following the deployment of US forces in the Caribbean under the pretext of “combating drug trafficking,” and after the first attack against a port area inside the country, the USA escalated its aggression by organizing a large-scale military attack against Caracas. The US military intervention in Venezuela constitutes yet another crime of imperialism against peoples. It is a continuation of the interventions, blockades, coups, and wars, the bloodshed that is ongoing in the Middle East and Ukraine, for the profits of monopolies and imperialist rivalries. This illegal abduction of President Maduro constitutes an unprecedented aggressive act that violates every fundamental principle of international law, opening yet another front in an already unstable global environment. The USA and its allies are not interested in “democracy,” nor in the “fight against terrorism,” let alone in the “fight against drug trafficking.” What they seek is control over the natural resources of Latin America, the reserves and oil production of Venezuela. They aim to impose their own dominance over the working class and the peoples, in the context of the existing intra-imperialist antagonisms for overall supremacy in the region and internationally. The outrageous statements made by President Trump that the USA will govern Venezuela, the threats he issued against Cuba and Colombia, and the “warnings” he periodically addresses to Mexico, have a little to do with his “personality.” They come from the new “Monroe Doctrine”, which clearly dictates that the region must align with the economic and geopolitical interests of the USA, against those of its rivals, Russia and China. The youth and young workers all over the world have nothing to gain from these plans. We cannot come to terms with the barbarity of imperialist interventions and wars! Now is the time to organize in our trade unions, to express in a militant way our solidarity and our opposition to their war plans and rivalries. We call on all trade unions and all youth committees to condemn by every means the imperialist intervention of the USA in Venezuela, to organize initiatives and uphold the non-negotiable right of peoples to democratically determine their present and their future.

The US is intensifying its aggression against the sovereign people of Venezuela. Following the deployment of U.S. forces in the Caribbean with the pretex of fight against drug trafficking and after the first land stike on a dock area inside the country, the USA uncontrollable escalates its aggression with the contacting of a large scale strike against Karakas, capturing of the President Nikolas Maduro and his wife. This illegal kidnap, if confirmed, constitute an unprecedented aggressive act that violates every fundamental principals of international law and practice, opening yet another war front in the unstable global scene. This intervention confirming the chaotic phase into which imperialist aggression has entered with unforeseen consequences. The World Federation of Trade Unions condemns unequivocally the imperialist intervention in Venezuela aiming the control of the mineral and energy wealth of the country in the framework of the inter-imperialistic antagonism for domination. The WFTU calls upon its members, the class-oriented and militant unions all over the globe to express the unwavering support to the people of Venezuela condemning the unacceptable and unprecedented intervention and to strongly condemn the imperialist intervention against the people of Venezuela and to tangibly extend their internationalist solidarity in multiple ways, supporting the non-negotiable right of the peoples to determine freely and democratically their own present and future. 20. WFTU Statement for the 29th of November International Day of Solidarity with the Palestinian People
    wftucentral.org/wftu-statement
The 29th of November is observed as the International Day of Solidarity with the Palestinian people. The World Federation of Trade Unions expresses its unwavering solidarity with the heroic Palestinian people in their struggle for freedom, dignity, and justice. This year marks more than two years since the beginning of the genocide against our brothers and sisters in Palestine, where over 63,000 lives have been lost, with numbers tragically increasing. The cessation of military operations in Gaza strip is certainly a development that relieves every progressive and peace-loving person. However, despite the fanfare and self-congratulations of the so-called peacemakers, the criminal Netanyahu history has proven that agreements like this one, imposed by the imperialists “with a gun to the head”, can bring neither just nor lasting peace, because they serve the interests of the monopolies, not those of the peoples. It is an agreement that buries the just and lawful aspirations of the Palestinian people for an end to the occupation and the establishment of their own independent state. The agreement on which the ceasefire is based, as well as the entire management of its implementation, takes place under the control and supervision of the United States, which has always been the consistent ally of Israel. The incredible brutality demonstrated by the murderous Israeli state, which cost the lives of tens of thousands of civilians—most of whom were children, women, and the elderly—the massive destruction of homes, hospitals, schools, and, in general, of the most basic infrastructure for a dignified life, and the violent displacement of millions of people from their places of residence, are acts committed before the eyes of the entire humanity. For these crimes, the Israeli state and those responsible for these decisions must undoubtedly be held accountable. Responsibility for these crimes also lies with all the governments that economically and militarily support Israel, providing not only political and diplomatic cover but also the material means for this unprecedented barbarity. The United States, along with the European Union and their other NATO allies, bear equal responsibility for the genocide and ethnic cleansing that has taken place in Gaza and for the fact that Israeli occupation and settlement expansion have been sustained for decades, with the rights of the Palestinian people being brutally violated. The WFTU, as always, stands by the Palestinian people, demanding an end to all economic, military, and political cooperation with the murderous state of Israel, the immediate restoration of the destruction and the creation of conditions for a dignified life for the residents of Gaza, the complete withdrawal of the Israeli occupation forces both from the Gaza Strip and from the West Bank, and the immediate cessation of the illegal and criminal settlement of Palestinian lands. It is clear that peace in the Middle East can only be established with Israel’s withdrawal from the occupied Arab territories and the full implementation of the relevant UN resolutions for the establishment of an independent Palestinian state within the 1967 borders, with East Jerusalem as its capital. The WFTU calls on its affiliates and friends to intensify their solidarity activities for Palestine.   Long live internationalist solidarity! Long live Palestine!

  22. WFTU Solidarity Statement with the Strike in Italy
    wftucentral.org/wftu-solidarit
The World Federation of Trade Unions, the militant voice of more that 105 million workers who live, work and struggle in 134 countries of the 5 continents, expresses its undivided solidarity with the working class of Italy and the General strike which is going to take place on 28-29 November 2025 under the slogan: “Say NO to the Meloni government’s budget law – stand with the Palestinian people and stop the genocide!” The general strike is the conscious and dignified reaction of the popular strata of Italy against the war economy and preparations that reduce resources for health, education, services, and increase the precariousness of work, undermining the interests of the workers, pensioners, students, and unemployed. The international class-oriented trade union movement struggles for peace and an immediate end to all wars and imperialist intervention. The WFTU affiliates, the militant unions all over the globe, fight for a society where the wealth of producers will be allocated to those who produce it with their Labor and toil. We join our voice with the worker on strike and their just demands for wage increase, permanent and stable work, dignified living and working conditions. 24. WFTU Statement on the Imperialist Escalation Against Venezuela
    wftucentral.org/wftu-statement
The World Federation of Trade Unions denounces the dangerous escalation of U.S. imperialism and its allies against the sovereign people of Venezuela. The announced military operation “Southern Spear” and the deployment of U.S. forces in the Caribbean repeat the familiar pattern of pretexts and provocations. The so-called “fight against drug trafficking” is nothing more than a cover for the real aims: the control of Venezuela’s immense mineral and energy wealth, the imposition of imperialist domination in the region, and the intimidation of its peoples. The U.S. monopolies seek to impose their interests through threats, economic wars and blockades, and military force. These plans endanger peace, violate the sovereignty of Venezuela, and threaten the stability of Latin America as a whole. The WFTU proclaims clearly: Hands off Venezuela! Every people has the non-negotiable right to determine freely and democratically its own future, without foreign interference, pressure, or intervention. We express our steadfast class solidarity with the working class and the people of Venezuela, who once again face imperialist aggression with dignity and courage. The WFTU calls on all trade unions and progressive forces to strengthen the struggle against the war plans of imperialism, to expose the real motives behind its interventions, and to raise the voice of internationalist solidarity with the peoples of Latin America. Solidarity with Venezuela — No to imperialist interventions!

  26. International Day for the Elimination of Violence against Women
    wftucentral.org/international-
“80 years of international trade union struggle – Stop violence, exploitation and war. Safety, dignity and equality for all women” On 25 November, International Day for the Elimination of Violence against Women, the World Federation of Trade Unions (WFTU) renews its struggle for a world free from violence, exploitation and war, recalling that in 2025 we will also celebrate 80 years of international trade union commitment alongside workers around the world. Violence against women is never an individual or private matter. It is rooted in the power structures of capitalism, economic and social inequalities, patriarchal culture and the militarisation of territories. Wars, occupations and armed conflicts disproportionately affect women, increasing poverty, instability and insecurity. Similarly, economic exploitation, low wages, precarious work, lack of rights and the reduction of public services fuel violence and discrimination. The WFTU fights for a world where women’s dignity and safety are top priorities, where work is safe and fairly paid, where every woman can live free from violence and fear. On this day, we remember in particular the situation in Palestine, where women today are suffering genocide and have been suffering the consequences of war, occupation and Israel’s policies of oppression for 77 years. Trade union organisations affiliated to the WFTU have always maintained that the fight against violence against women is closely linked to the fight for workers’ rights, decent wages, safe housing, public education, healthcare and accessible social services. No woman can be free without access to economic resources, social protection and freedom from war and systemic violence. On this day, the WFTU reaffirms: The need for effective legislation against all forms of violence, discrimination and exploitation; The right of women to safe work, decent wages and equal opportunities; The fight against imperialist wars and all forms of occupation; The right to education, contraception, social spaces and free public services, which are fundamental tools for women’s autonomy and protection; The need to combat patriarchy and the culture of violence, including through trade union campaigns, information campaigns and concrete actions on the ground. The WFTU and its affiliates call on all trade unions and workers to mobilise, build international solidarity and support concrete actions against violence against women, predatory capitalism, exploitation and wars. Only collective struggle and the participation of workers can create a world where safety, dignity, equality and freedom are a reality for all women. 80 years of international trade union struggle. Stop violence against women. Stop exploitation and war. Freedom and justice for Palestine. Safety, dignity and equality for all women!

  30. WFTU Solidarity Message with ENEDEP Dockworkers Union
    wftucentral.org/wftu-solidarit
The World Federation of Trade Unions strongly condemns the new unacceptable prosecution against militant trade unionists and class-oriented trade unions that stand in solidarity with the heroic Palestinian people in practice. The prosecution of the president of the ENEDEP Dockworkers Union and the Piraeus Labour Center, for the mobilization that blocked a container loaded with bullets bound for Israel, must stop immediately and unconditionally. Those who should be brought to justice are the war criminals of the Israeli state and not the trade unionists fighting against the massacre of the Palestinians. The prosecution of trade unionists and the violation of trade union rights is not Justice. Justice will be the prompt end to the genocide, the end of the Israeli barbaric occupation, and the establishment of an independent Palestinian state. The WFTU reiterates its call for boycott actions against Israel and tangible support with the struggling Palestinian People and expresses its undivided solidarity with its affiliates and cadres who keep the flag of internationalist solidarity flying. The International class-oriented trade union movement joins its voice with PAME, the militant trade unions, and the workers in Greece, demanding: The immediate termination of all prosecutions against the president of ENEDEP and the Piraeus Labour Center. That the case be dropped unconditionally and permanently. The abolition of the reactionary legal framework that criminalizes trade union action and internationalist solidarity.   Hands off the president of the ENEDEP Dockworkers Union! 32. The WFTU on the 108th Anniversary of the Great October Socialist Revolution
    wftucentral.org/the-wftu-on-th
The World Federation of Trade Unions (WFTU) honours the 108th anniversary of the Great October Socialist Revolution. One hundred and eight years ago, the workers and the poor peasants of Russia, led by the courageous and visionary leaders of the working class, brought forth a new dawn for the oppressed. It was a resounding call for equality, an end to exploitation, and the empowerment of the workers. It also laid the foundations for the creation of the world’s first workers’ state. The principles and values of the October Revolution – internationalism, solidarity, and the leading role of the working class — remain alive and relevant today. In our times, when capitalist crises follow one another and the exploitation of workers intensifies, when poverty, unemployment, and social inequalities deepen, the October Revolution continues to illuminate the path of struggle for all those who produce the wealth of the world. Today, the monopolies and multinationals accumulate enormous profits, while workers face attacks on wages, collective rights, and freedoms. At the same time, imperialist wars and interventions spread destruction and misery, confirming once again the need for the struggle against imperialism and exploitation. The WFTU, faithful to the ideals of the October Revolution, continues its militant, class-oriented struggle for the emancipation of the working class and all oppressed peoples. We fight for a world free of exploitation, for peace and social progress. We stand firmly with all workers who resist anti-labor policies, repression, and imperialist aggression. Even 108 years later, the Great October Socialist Revolution continues to inspire millions of militant workers across the world. Its message is alive in every workplace, in every strike, in every act of resistance and solidarity. Long live the Great October Socialist Revolution!
