I’ve been reading quite a bit of Star Wars these past few years, mostly #starwarsthehighrepublic stuff and just about everything I’ve read from the post Disney canon has actually been really good! with only a select few books dipping below a certain bar of quality.

Started reading George Mann's "Star Wars: The High Republic: Tears Of The Nameless."

📖🚀⚔️
Mann is the least interesting of the #StarWarsTheHighRepublic writers, and this story, while entertaining so far, is a prime example of his okay-ness.

CW: #TheAcolyte season finale spoilers
Despite much criticism, I don't think, #TheAcolyte is a bad show, but neither is it extraordinary. It has a fantastic premise of showcasing the Jedi's arrogance and self-righteousness that will eventually lead to their downfall. However, the show didn't live up to its full potential. There could have been a few more twists and turns and a bit more content overall per episode

CW: #TheAcolyte episode 7 spoiler
It's interesting, how the Jedi in #TheAcolyte, when they reach for someone else's mind, they place their fingers on this person's forehead very similar to a Vulcan mind meld from #StarTrek

CW: #TheAcolyte episode 6 spoilers
Is the "unknown planet", Osha and Qimir are on, by any chance Ahch-To? That would connect it in an interesting way to #TheLastJedi. I know, we haven't seen the little animals we've seen in episode 6 in The Last Jedi and the Porgs are missing in this episode, but a lot can happen in 1000 years.

Though not one of the better #StarWars novels, or even one of the better #StarWarsTheHighRepublic novels, it was still rather eventful, and for that it was interesting.

New super power unlocked: listening to audiobooks while 3D printing. I can watch a print pretty closely, prepare the next print, even design stuff while listening to a story of battles happening during the High Republic era of Star Wars or whatever. :) Two completely different parts of the brain, I guess.

I’m currently reading a Star Wars book about two neighboring planets that have been at war as long as anyone remembers, often resorting to brutal and inhumane tactics based purely on a hatred for the other and uh…
Yeah it’s kind of hard to read rn.

Time to read Alyssa Wong's #StarWarsTheHighRepublic Tales of Light and Life short story. You know, the one the publisher stupidly hid in a store exclusive that you can only get in the US and forbids international publishers from translating.
Luckily, I have a friend in the US who was willing to send me a few copies of the book for me and my friends.
