#starwarslegends — Public Fediverse posts

I'm getting back into reading novels for a while: https://viewfromthelake.tumblr.com/post/818683752954937345/prose-reading-update-june-6-2026 #novels #starwars #starwarslegends #timothyzahn

I got perspective straight from a Timothy Zahn interview (he was quoting someone at West End Games): "George is letting us play in his driveway. We can't be mad when he backs out and runs over our stuff." #StarWars #ExpandedUniverse #StarWarsLegends

I still maintain that Asajj Ventress is one of the *few* characters that’s improved upon in the new #StarWars cannon compared to her depiction in #StarWarsLegends.

She’s still badass as a mostly mindless assassin and has a pretty decent conclusion in #SWLegends, but #TheCloneWars show gave her much more depth.

I've been thinking about Jude Watson's remarkable JEDI APPRENTICE series, and that led me back to an older post I made (below) on foreshadowing.

"If you could choose your death, Qui-Gon, wouldn't you rather die in peace and comfort than violently in battle, in shock and despair?"

Finished reading Priests of Mars last night. While I'm eager to continue, I'm also looking forward to getting a change of pace with something a bit different. (Partially to avoid burnout)

For shits n' giggles, I've decided to take a trip back in time with Timothy Zahn's classic "Heir to the Empire". I never could get into it as a child, so here's hoping I can appreciate it more as an adult!
