While working on this piece, I tried refining a new style that was inspired by carving out linotype. Rather than using consistent lines, I tried to give the lines a more etched, or “hand cut”, look.

I hated seeing the AI starter packs everyone has been posting lately, their boring, prettified sameness, and love to see illustrators taking over with starter packs that are as unique as their creators, their love for details and sense of humour.

While I don‘t have the time to participate by drawing sth new, I realised that I already illustrated – and published! – my own starter pack a couple of years ago: The Lily Lux Fridge Magnets!

Sieht zwar witzig aus, aber nun sind ganz viele Gesichter von ganz vielen Menschen in den KI-Datenbanken gespeichert. Was die KI in Zukunft mit diesen Gesichtern anstellt, weiss kein Mensch.
