Hello everypony! I've been working hard lately, and recently came up with my villainess, Frozen Dawn. I also got a chance to really upgrade my art skills, and wanted to share this most recent iteration.

Frozen Dawn is the alicorn that rules the Stargazer universe, at least in the distant past. She has long used the powers of ice and snow to conquer her enemies, and ensure that her ponies are left undisturbed. However, she eventually was allowed to fall into obscurity and was discarded into the histories of time, left to sleep on a desolate frozen moon on the outskirts of the Aelia system, far from the nearest star.

She has awakened as something new and evil, the Villainess Frozen Dawn, and she will do anything to reclaim her throne and bring the ponies under her heel. All in the name of protection and security.

A gift for my friend @feathervocals one of the most amazing artists we have in the MLP fandom. You can find more of her music and art at https://www.youtube.com/@FeatherVOCALSandART !

I'm honored to be able to be the first artist to render her as an anthro version! lots of new techniques in this piece.

Thank you so much for letting me draw your beautiful mare my friend!!

Whew! Decided to try drawing my lovely villainess Frozen Dawn for the last couple of days, the antagonist in my Stargazer universe/storyline. I started with just a simple nude base, then a poll on twitch decided on armor. Fun.

What started as a figure study turned into a long-form piece of art featuring myself and my best friend @duppydoodles . He's an amazing artist, patient and kind, and he's the best teacher i've been fortunate to have.

If only I would study his techniques more, lol. Been meaning to do a piece like this for a couple of years now, and I think I finally nailed it. Proud to call you family my dude.

A figure study gone off the rails, i made every decision about this piece on the fly. Every single little bit was done by inspiration that appeared randomly as the night went on, including the final setting gifted by my friend @lumiere !! Thank you my friend!!

This piece is in fact a YCH, but that's the figure only. Everything else is adhoc, for which I am very very proud.

Been too long since I drew Luna!

Always more art to see at my twitch channel, https://www.twitch.tv/starsongdusk . Come hang!

Hey guys! I'm still alive, and still making art! I've been practicing my human-ish figures in the recent days, and this piece is the result of the most recent effort!

I think she looks really good here, and several experiments have been done to see how effective the drawing can be, including the addition of eyeshadow and blush, and lots more floof than I tend to use. I love it so far and I expect more in the future!

If you wanna see how I do my art come hang out on most evenings at https://www.twitch.tv/starsongdusk !!

Well, it's been a wild couple of weeks. I was finally able to get a stream out tonight, after a week of chaos due to a death in the family. Rest in Peace, grampa.

Finally, things have calmed down to a point where I can start doing creative things again. Tonight, I did a short warmup sketch that turned into an inked piece, lol. Just a cute little Fluttershy doodle I did on stream!

EFNW coming up soon, can't wait. Ping me if you're going and might want to hang out!

Morning everypony! Believe it or not, I'm still alive! Been doing some painting and such over here, usually on streams in the evenings. Working on some Stargazer pieces, I happened to work on the next part of my storyboard for the comic, and unintentionally went a little too hard.

In this shot, Starsong looks into the sky above her home planet and realizes that she no longer belongs on the ground. The stars call her name, and she intends to answer. The longing on her face belies the determination she has to escape the bonds of Aelia.

I had so much fun painting this piece, and I really need to thank my best friend @duppydoodles for some advice on shading that really brought this piece to life. Love you buddy, thank you.

Sometimes depression knocks you out of the world for awhile, and when you come back everything looks weird.

Thankfully I'm coming out of a slightly longer-term episode and I'm feeling so much better these last few days.

Started working on a new character for #projectstargazer the other night, which I haven't been working on for almost a year- and hot damn she's a cutie. Lots of fun concepts to do with this completely amoral/slightly villainous alicorn named Frozen Dawn.

What do ya'll think of her? Still need a cutie mark that fits better, I had the concept for a blue sun surrounded by frozen ice crystals but I'm absolute shit at those kinds of designs. Anyhow, enjoy this new character design! Here's hoping for more Stargazer content very soon!

Morning ponies!

Yes, I am in fact alive, lol! Been dealing with some health problems, but I've got some art in the pipeline and more than a few pieces to share from the last few months!

I've been working on my anthro art recently, and I am really proud of the progress. Lots of work to be done admittedly, but I had no idea my observation skills had progressed as far as they have!

Here's my most recent adventure into that space. I expect to be doing some more studies into the subject, drawing humanoid bodies has proven to be a lot of fun!

I'll be posting more in the near future, for now, I hope you enjoy this one!

Warning: Lingerie, bare skin, cleavage.

Decided to attempt drawing some anthro stuff after several years away, I think it went really well! A Cute Starsong looking both sexy and shy, while wearing the outfit I first imagined her wearing back when she was designed.

Just a bit of vent art of my #starsongdusk looking adorable in a loose sweatshirt. I imagine this is what the captain looks like when she's getting ready for bed after a long day of exploration and command work. So much paperwork.

A small treat for my followers here, I painted the most recent piece into a desktop wallpaper, my first in fact!

Credit to my best friend @duppydoodles for teaching me how to make pretty water ripples!

Been working on a piece for the last couple of days, started off as a piece of vent art and blossomed into the most intricate and advanced piece I've done to date.

I've been getting anatomy lessons from my best friend @duppydoodles who is literally the best artist I know, and his lessons have been paying off. Combine that with 6-8 hours of drawing practice every day, and it turns out that's a recipe for really amazing progress. I am incredibly proud of this piece.

Next on the list of ponies done for the Stargazer group piece is our amazing chief engineer and 3rd in command, @DanyElRex !!! His character Rain Specter serves as our Chief Engineer, and his job is to keep our haunted as hecc engine in line.

Consistently and permanently on the edge of existential crises, Rain endures his fate by causing explosions and damaging the ship that torments him as often as he can. At the same time he is incredibly supportive and wants nothing more than to protect the crew that he loves so much.

Unfortunately, his tendency to cause explosions often lands him in hot water with Moonsprite and Captain Starsong. He has a special love for our chef's aptly named "death tacos" and consumes them at every opportunity.

Good morning fediponies! I hope ya'll are having a good day. Feel like it's a good time to share some snippets of a big project I'm working on. =3

I'll post them one at a time 'cause I'm lame like that. Working in order of highest rank backwards, I'm putting together a big group image of the Stargazer crew. First up is our first officer, Harvest Moonsprite!

Avatar of my friend Lorelei Starspray, she is the best friend one could ever ask for. She is absolutely dedicated to our community and me as a friend, and everything she does keeps us safe and harmonious. Like a good first officer, she keeps things running and executes her duty with precision and effeciency. She is my rock, I could not do what I do without her.

Happy Solstice, and a wonderful Hearthswarming to my little ponies!!

Ahh, what a glorious day to have my blood sucked. On a lark I decided to do a 5 hour art stream last night to focus on updating my character sheet for Starsong. She's developed so much over the last two years, as have my skill levels! Looking at this piece side-by-side really emphasizes just how potent hours of practice every day can improve a skill. I'm so glad that I found art. I think my life has been improved so much by dialysis and kidney failure, mostly because it finally feels like I found my calling.

This character sheet is pretty rudimentary, but I'm going to design something a little prettier in the future and offer them as commissions once I find something I'm a little more confident in. In the meantime, I hope you enjoy more confident and slightly sexier Starsong!

Aaaand as promised, the updated version that is slightly more SFW! Got my girl a sexy new bra, some jewelry, and now she's compliant with the Twitch dress code.

I gotta say, in a weird way this one is even more hot than the nekkie one, lol. I'm pretty proud of her, especially since this is really my first attempt at lingerie and/or boobs! I imagine there's lots more to follow as I get more comfortable with the concept, lol.

You can see her on my Twitch channel at https://www.twitch.tv/starsongdusk !! I stream almost nightly starting at 8 PM PST. Please come say hi!!

Well, drew a thing, but Twitch didn't like her apparently boobs aren't great for streamers, sadly, even if they're pastel horse boobs. So have the first version of the Boobsong Dusk, lol. I really like the new version, I think she's got a lot more curves and that the face is a lot more attractive. In general, I'm beyond happy with the results! Will post the new Twitch-friendly version in the morning, hope you like her!

I've finally opened commissions, if anyone is interested! Still kinda bare pickings as far as options go, 2 YCH's and a full bodied character, but prices are pretty low until I can hit verified status and can start adding more options. Would love to do some drawings for ya'll!

Just had to share this WIP from tonights stream. I was determined to draw Starsong with my newly obtained eye shading and shape techniques, and oh boy is it turning out well.

I have a long history of drawing unicorns with swords, and I return to it occasionally when I want to test my skills and hone new techniques. I think it's going well.

And finally, my re imagining of "The Moon" is complete! I really had fun with this one, and learned a whole lot. Specifically how to draw trees, lol.

I'm also wondering if the colors are maybe a bit too saturated for a night-time scene like this, but honestly I'm happy to call it complete. I've definitely learned some skills that I'll be carrying forward into my next drawing.

I'm lucky in that Luna visits me in my dreams IRL frequently, and that she has always proven to be a benevolent force when times are hard. This particular version was inspired by the song 'Flee' by Whirly Tail, and featuring Koa.
