And so, we managed to clear the game with four endings obtained: Bacchus's, Myuria's, Reimi's, and Sarah's endings. It took a while again (almost an extra 2 hours), but there was a lot of cutscene content, too. I didn't measure the time, but I wouldn't be surprised if 25–30% of today's recording is just cutscenes :blobcatGoogly:
As usual, no summary for this stream, because spoilers and, well, it's the finale of the stream series.
As last week, this also means I'll put up a game selection poll shortly. Check it out if you're interested in having a say in what I play on Friday.
As always, I hope everyone enjoyed today's stream. Thank you all for joining :blobcatHeart:

Since I'm still technically recuperating, I cut today's stream short so I can get to bed a bit earlier.
Yes, I know what you're going to say. Yes, I was also sick on Monday. No, Monday's S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2 stream which clocked in at 6.5 hours in the end was an outlier and should not have been counted.
After all, in the two hours of Star Ocean today we managed to make our way to and take down another Grigori (which was… surprisingly easy and I don't know why) and concoct a plan on how to prevent the further spread of the Grigori.
As Ex/Giotto/the Morphus have found out, there appears to be some planet-like (?) very dark structure (?) which apparently receives life energy that the Grigori collect. That structure then amplifies the energy, and forwards it to the Missing Procedure (the entity inside a black hole—or something—that's apparently responsible for the Grigori) to generate more Grigori. Using that energy, the cycle repeats.
Because I forgot the name, I tried to look it up on the Internet, and thanks to IGN I now know that next time, we're probably going to be greeted by a 45-minute-long series of cutscenes. So prepare yourself mentally if you plan to join me next time.
Finally, don't forget to vote on the current game selection poll if you haven't already!

Well, not a lot of things happened today, partly because I cut the stream short to go easy on my vocal cords.
However, we did set out for and eventually arrive at En II. And that despite a short interruption by Phantom craft that would almost have spelled the Calnus' demise, were it not for Lightspeed Kenny showing up (actually, we never met, don't let anyone tell you otherwise).
Then, I trekked all across En II, had three of my fancy vases smashed, and built a guitar for a friend of Myuria :blobcatEnjoy:
And eventually, our chat with the consciousness of the Morpheus came to an abrupt end when a Grigori hit En II and embedded itself in an area called the "Sanctuary". That's where we're headed next time. No clue what it is, but I suppose we will find out.
I hope everyone enjoyed today's stream. Thank you all for joining :blobcatHeart: And if you're still looking for more entertainment, go check out Kalla's latest video!

Well, shit. I forgor to delete Friday's recording, and because of that, today's recording cut out during the boss fight at the end. Yeehaわない :pensive_cowboy:
Essentially, what happened beyond the end of the recording is that I managed to beat the boss first try (though it did take some more time). During the post-battle cutscene, we saw how the Phantoms were massacring the Eldar refugees, and Faize desperately departed the Aquila in a Sol fighter craft to aid his fellow people. He shot down one Phantom craft, then ran into another one that had its guns trained on his craft. He saw a beam of light coming towards him and— that's where that part of the cutscene ended. Certainly looks like a bad situation, but we haven't seen him dead yet :02_shrug:
On other news: I managed to clear the first Phantom encounter, after only an accumulated bazillion times! I was actually surprised after I cleared it.
Also, we met with Crowe, who took Faize with him into orbit (and then the above happened), but in exchange we got the other main character energy Eldari called Arumat, the fellow from that one armoured company that I predicted will be an opponent at some point. Well, so far he has not become an enemy, I suppose :m249Shrug:

So we got Ecchi up to Lv50, Reimi to Lv49, Myuria to Level45-ish and Sarah to Lv44. I hope that's going to help with the next attempt of the Phantom encounter. I really don't want to have to do this again :g36Sleeping:

And if you're still looking for some entertainment, why not stop by @kallashearwater's stream? She's still live with Twisted Wonderland!

“Again.” Yeah. “Again” really was the theme of today's stream.
We went through the lower-level parts of Aeos again to get a decent Bonus Board going.
Then cleared the area up to that save point where the game crashed last time again.
After trying the next encounter once, and then again, I decided I wasn't powerful enough and hence looked up recommendations on the Internet, improved the equipment, then cleared the path yet again.
Only to fail the encounter again.
Yeah. Fun times. The only thing that didn't happen this time was the game crashing. Well. It's not much, but it's something :phoenixSigh:

Well, now that was annoying. Just moments before hitting a save point, the game (and Steam, for reasons unknown) crashed. Just like that. Which was, to an extent, convenient, because I was yawning like crazy, but also quite annoying, because I already cut the stream short, and now we have to pick up the last… *checks recording* 45 minutes of content during the next stream. :phoenixSigh:
If you're interested in the roaming and handing in of side quests anyway, or would like to see how far I got before the game crashed, by all means, do check out the recording, but I don't expect anyone to actually watch that.
As always, despite the short stream, I hope that everyone enjoyed it. Thank you all for joining :blobcatHeart:

Once again, for everyone: Do not trust moustache-wearing demon worshippers! Or any other demon worshippers, really! Tends to be bad for your health.
We have now cleared the story part of Roak by preventing—or, at the very least, delaying—a demon resurrection. Sarah is safe and sound, but now Faize appears to be… odd. He saw a ring and then his eyes went all glowy, he started laughing like a madman, and then immediately snapped out of it again after being called by his name. The others somehow did not notice. Like, what?
Also, apparently Something™ has gone down on Aeos, so HQ has ordered us to investigate that ASAP. Guess that means I'll be looking to clear the side quests I have remaining on Roak, right? :owo_thaenkin:

And so, another stream comes to an end.
We learned some things about Ecchi, Reimi and what the mark that we saw on Ecchi's hand at the very beginning of the game actually means. Ecchi has now somewhat recovered from his impassivity and is starting to realize (again) that he is, in fact, not alone on his journey.
In the end, Sarah, a Featherfolk person who can't fly, has gone missing (she was kidnapped), and now we're on the search for her. The game wasn't particularly forthcoming with hints yet, so we're currently roaming the world to see where we might need to go next. Guess that's what we're going to be doing next time, too.
As always, I hope everyone enjoyed today's stream. Thank you all for joining :blobcatHeart:

Today's summary? Earth go :neocat_floof_explode:, I guess. Cat girl joined the crew. Ecchi is now a mostly impassive husk of a person. How did this all happen? *waves arms* Future Magic. Check out the stream recording if you'd like, because otherwise I'd spoil even more than what I already have.
As always, I hope everyone enjoyed today's stream. Thank you all for joining :blobcatHeart:

Oops. Forgot to remove Monday's stream recording again  That means I need to join the two video files again, which means today's stream recording will be made available at a later time than usual. Sorry :blobcatSmileSweat:
Either way, we found out that Arcturus VIII is not actually a planet, but rather the mothership of the Cardianon, who supposedly destroyed their own home planet. We also found out what these strange crystals that spawn ethereal boss monsters are called: Epiphanies of Guidance, or “Grigori”. On top of that, we had Bacchus join the crew! No, not the Greek deity of wine, vegetation, fertility, festivity, ritual madness, religious ecstasy, and theatre, but the kind-of-cyborg Morphus Bacchus D-79! Don't know him? “As a humble scientist, I would like nothing more than to answer your questions”, but I think watching the stream recording to find out would be more entertaining, no? :blobcatFingerGuns: (damn, that was a smooth way to plug the stream recording. well done, mezzo!)

Well, looks like Lemuris is now clear. After Events™ have transpired, Lymle Rimuru has now joined us for good, and we aim to head for Arcturus VIII, a planet that was apparently the target of “colonization by force” (as Faize put it) of an alien humanoid/lizard race known as the Cardianon. And apparently, the missing ship Aquila with Ecchi's childhood friend Crowe on it may have passed by that area, too. Who knows? Maybe we'll even find it next time!

Ecchi Edge Ecchi made captain today! We're on a new planet! It has a contagious disease that slowly petrifies you! Rimuru Lymle joined our team! Following a gear upgrade and a generous amount of SP, Reimi is now the primary DPS! Shining Stone cures depression! This and more incredible news in today's stream recording of Star Ocean: The Last Hope :blobcatWink:
