I think my fave thing was the fact that they had a speedrun challenge in the background with gamer Nekomimi-san doing a Rena game on Galaxy difficulty, and would periodically pause to check on it and comment.

And my FAVE fave part is that the gamer used 3/4 of my dream team for most of the boss battles including the final (Claude, Bowman, Dias). Dias spent much of it being dead since he can't heal himself 😂

Official time was 1hr43min to save the universe 💪 👏

I'm sure English game sites will be sharing all this in better quality soon, but here were the main new takeaways (to me) from the #StarOcean 30th anniversary livestream. Bearing in mind my Japanese is not great and I can't follow live conversation easily:

1) cute new anniversary illustration by Kajimoto Yukihiro of all male+female leads (which will likely be popping up everywhere shortly)
2) Ikebukuro JR Station popup in September with anniversary merch
