SpaceX has agreed to acquire 100% of Grain Management’s nationwide 800 MHz spectrum portfolio, in a deal that still needs FCC approval.
The company describes the portfolio as licenses for up to 14 MHz of paired spectrum.

My telecom trade-pub client asked me to cover SpaceX’s portion of this keynote Monday. Telus invests in AST SpaceMobile to expand D2D coverage in Canada
SpaceX has officially rebranded its "Direct to Cell" phone-to-satellite service as "Starlink Mobile".
Starlink Mobile currently serves ~ 16M users. Company plans to build Gen 2 of its satellite constellation beginning in mid-2027 and suggests it will scale out the constellation over time, potentially to 15,000 satellites.
Empahsis = Starlink Mobile is not a replacement for existing cell services, it is "complementary to terrestrial networks".
We will see how long that positioning lasts!
