  1. end reveal that somebody is spying on the Whitmore-Dugan household is a great twist too. #Stargirl

  2. Chapter Six: The Betrayal: More of an average episode, but still not bad. Some of it, like Mike and Jakeem trying to recruit Cindy, is starting to get a bit repetitive. Pat and Barbara gatecrashing Courtney's date with Cameron is entertainingly awkward though, and the #Stargirl

  3. leading up to this for a while, and it should generate some interesting conflict between Cindy and the JSA. Cindy is still too obvious to be the killer, though. My money is still on Sylvester, especially with his angry outburst at the picture of the ISA. #Stargirl

  4. than when she confronts Cameron at school. Cindy sees him as a liability, whereas Courtney views Cameron as a child who needs help.

Of course, the episode has to end with the inevitable, which is Yolanda finding the Gambler's laptop in Cindy's room. The season has been #Stargirl

  5. Chapter Five: The Thief: An enjoyable instalment. I like Courtney and Cindy as friends; they're yin and yang in terms of how they are complete polar opposites. Whilst Courtney sees the best in those she meets, Cindy sees the worst. Nowhere is this highlighted better #Stargirl

  6. particularly good, as it shows his unresolved trauma from the deaths of his fellow JSA members. Sylvester is a damaged man, and there's no telling what he could be capable of. #Stargirl

  7. if it was Cindy who did the deed.

Personally, my suspicions are on Sylvester/Starman. He loses his temper too easily, and his dodgy behaviour like taking Courtney out of school to train her shows his unreliability. The scene where he loses it with the Shade is #Stargirl

  8. The series clearly wants us to think that Cindy killed the Gambler, even though it's obvious she isn't the culprit. The fact that this is the second episode, and she's already been shown with a smoking gun and the Gambler's laptop means that it would be a terrible twist #Stargirl

  9. Chapter Two: The Suspects: This episode transitions the series completely into a Whodunnit, which is something not done very often in superhero TV. It works well for the genre though, as superhero media typically leads to many rivalries between heroes and villains. #Stargirl

  29. Less than two weeks until #StarGirl gets home from college ... and we get to go see #TheMarvels.

Captain Marvel is one of StarGirl's favorite characters and its always great getting to see a movie where Captain Marvel comes to life. To be able to see it WITH StarGirl AND NeutronLad? All the better.

  30. @feld @lnxw37b2 @Marbleturtle Me and @Marbleturtle watch #Stargirl, but off the #BluRay release. I’ve seen #YTheLastMan too and it’s really good, although it got cancelled due to rights lasping while the series was in development hell.

I look at catalog now, not what is going on --- plus price.

I got a good deal on the annual Paramount+ so I'm happy to keep that for Trek and my kids check the Nick stuff.

Same goes for Disney+ but I also am not paying full ticket for the annual subscription.

HBOMax... I have no idea why I still have it other than #Stargirl and some HBO documentaries.

I've tried canceling Netflix a few times but just as I do some show comes on my kids will die without seeing.
